I've been studying Korean for four years on and off, but my progress always stalled simply because language-learning materials are boring. LingQ allows you to learn a language while reading and listening to content that you enjoy. Now I simply import material from Korean news websites and blogs that I'm interested in reading, and the LingQ interface enables me to read through it even there are a lot of words I don't understand. LingQ also has a massive library of audio material complete with transcriptions. One of the hardest parts of learning a new language is understanding spoken material. This way you can work through the transcription and translate the words you don't know, then practice listening to the audio over and over until you're able to understand it all. I've seen incredible progress in my Korean in the two months since I discovered LingQ, and the best part is I'm having fun learning the language again. I would highly recommend it to anyone who has tried learning a language in the past, but failed due to boredom. This puts the fun back in language learning!
