My friend treated me to an advent calendar last year and I was hooked and signed up for a year and I have had a glorious time sending cards hither and thither, as I have friends all over the world and we are based in Cyprus. However, it was a different story when I tried to order several advent calendars (and pay for them) this year, it was utterly impossible I was caught up in some loop or other and could not escape. I tried from 20 November which I, in my naivety thought was early enough to order the calendars, until a couple of days ago to try and get them to put this right, they even sent me an email on 23 December to tell me it was still not too late to order said calendars! All they kept doing was parroting everything I was supposed to do, which we did - the first time, without even offering to do anything about my problem their end, even to the point that, without any request from me I saw that they had helped themselves to another year's membership. Admittedly they have said they will credit me, however, not one word of apology just different people parroting the same things, over and over and over and over again - you get the idea? Did I ever receive an apology or even a year's membership for free as a goodwill gesture? Not a hope! Dreadful company, dreadful, seemingly employing UCAS rejects!
