“Bad practice - no redress”

Two years ago I cancelled the automatic renewal instruction that had somehow appeared on my 'details' page. Nevertheless, JL has just taken another 2 years' subscription from my credit account. I find that, despite my cancellation, I am still a 'member' (sucker) and the automatic renewal instruction has miraculously reappeared among my account details. There is no telephone number at which I can contact the company in order to rectify this error. Is this legal??
