I was applying for my provisional license so googled 'apply online' as it directed me to the Gov.uk website I thought all I had to do was fill out the application, pay the £50 fee and wait for my license. What actually happened was a couple of weeks later I received a printed application form with a letter telling me to check the details on the form and send it off to DVLA with a cheque for a further £43. I wasn't happy about having to pay twice so I emailed them and got an automated reply stating they would reply within two working days. Four working days later I had still not heard from them so I rang DVLA and was told that it was a company that prints out forms for people and charges them a ridiculous amount of money for doing so!! Unfortunately DVLA have nothing to do with this company so can't stop them but I thought the Gov.uk website was one that could be trusted. EAZY APPLICATIONS LTD SHOULD BE AVOIDED AT ALL TIMES!!

No doubt, like many others before me, I googled Driving Licence Applications expecting to come up with DVLA and came to this cleverly set up site. Yes, there is much cleverly placed "small print" which states that they are not affiliated to DVLA and what the service is but to be honest I suspect most folk, like me, don't notice this as they fill in the on-line form thinking that they are paying their £20.00 to renew a licence. The really corrupt, and I suspect illegal too, practice is that despite me having e mailed their "support" address within minutes of realising my mistake in order to cancel the service they completely ignore you and go ahead anyway. I have now sent 3 e mails requesting cancellation and refund and not so much as a squeak. In addition I do not believe that they do even do the minimum that they say they do in terms of checking as they appeared unable to spot that my passport serial number related to a passport that had expired more than 4 years previously. I shall be pursuing this matter just as far as I can. I will make it a long term objective in fact.

Made the online application, I then got an e-mail to state the application had begun to be checked, shortly after it stated that all procedures had been completed and the pack had been sent to me to finalise. The pack arrived the next day, signed and dated it, sent it back and received the licence within 8 days. What a fantastic service, helped me get it right the first time.

What a great service. Applied online to make sure my driving licence application was correct. I received an e-mail stating that my application had been checked and sent to me to finalise, the application came the next day and all I needed to do was sign in the box, pop my licence in the prepaid envelope they supplied and send it off. What an efficient well presented service, also a lot cheaper than other check and send service available upon the Internet. Many thanks for all of your help.

MISSLEADING-

They offer no valuable service at all, nothing you can't do your self

on the DVLA website.

They may try and justify their services...but don't be fooled!

I was told that my driving licence was out of date and as my

partner and I were driving to London shortly I was panicked into renewal.

I typed “renewal driving licence at 70” into search

engine and “Driving Licence Applications.org came up.

The site took me through three boxes and I then paid a

fee of £29.99 for each of us.  I was not

aware that the renewal could be obtained for FREE on the DVLA website, nor did

it make this clear.

If you follow the boxes it’s not clear that the site

disassociates itself from the DVLA in the small print way down at the bottom of

the page.

I would concur with the other complainants, this site is

misleading, especially to the elderly like myself.  My partner had to complete another

application sent from DVLA to obtain his licence.

A COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY!

I complained to eazy applications as they charged 30 for a driving licence renewal for my father in law which anybody can get for free visa the government direct gov website.

I asked for a refund but they insisted that their charge was valid.

I advised them to issue a warning on thruout a Web page saying, despite the fact they are charging for this, you can get the same service free of charge on the direct gov website.

They declined to comment, only to say they are not affiliated with the government site.

Please avoid Eazy completely!

If you are renewing your driving license at age 70 beware. Eazy Applications website looks like the real thing and is high on the Google search list but is in fact a "checking" facility which "verifies" your application and charges £29.99 for the service. In reality renewal is free so either check the website that you are using very carefully or use the old method of simply filling in the the DVLA form and returning it by post.

Pressure should be put on internet service providers and the government to close down these kinds of  companies.

This site tries to attract those who think they are applying for a new license. They don't do much really except mail you a "free from the DVLA" form and charge a very high fee for their services.

Absolute refusal to refund when cornered and hide behind smallprint to justify their despicable trade. I would have given 0 stars.

After filling my details in for replacement of a driving license 3 weeks ago I am still to hear off this company having had nothing returned. Although my money was taken from my account immediately. I have had no reply to emails sent either.
