“Waste of time”

I would never recommend Reliant Windows and will never use again.
I ordered a new front door on 9/1/21, had no communication from them, I had to keep chasing. Then they booked in the door for fitting on Tuesday 4th April and when they arrived it was the wrong the door. One days holiday from work wasted.
Then nothing until mid May, had a call to say they no longer do the glass I ordered, so they had to come back out so I could choose new glass.
Then had to wait another six weeks for the door and it was actually fitted on Friday 25th June 2021
For a company with 35years experience very disappointing experience.

We don't like to let any of our customers down, we are a family owned business in the industry since 1982, one family, one company. The current world order has fractured the supply chain for lots of businesses including ours and getting hold of certain products at the moment is increasingly difficult. We shy away from excuses and like to try and get on with things and get the job done for our valued customers, but it is incredibly frustrating when certain factors at the moment are out of our control and come through no fault of our own, it's the same throughout our industry and in having to pass on bad news, the vast majority of our customers understand the current situation because they appreciate and sympathise with the current landscape. We can understand your personal frustration, of course.

Most of our customers are recommended and are returning existing customers and although we're not perfect, the vast majority of our reviews are hugely positive, which we're appreciative of and we take onboard reviews where we can do better.

We hope you enjoy your new door and that our goodwill gesture will help moving forward and if you require any future assistance, please contact us.

“Very Bad Manners”

If it were possible to leave no stars I would! 19 March 2020 We ordered a Composite Door and Fixed Window to be fitted ASAP. We were told that the surveyor would be along the following eeek to 'measure up' even though precise measurements could be given that day. The following week, we were put into lockdown so, obviously, wedidn't expect a surveyor. Fast forward to today, 13 October 2020 and we have had no further contact from Reliant since the salesman took our order and hospitality! I would call that extreme bad manners and disgustingly poor mismanagement! Yes, I could have tried to further contact them which, on one occasion, I did but, to no avail. Good Customer Service is blatantly not part of this company's concern, it is not for me. to have to chase them, good cutomer service comes from caring about one's customers. I would, as I have already said, call it an issue of bad manners to say the very least and, would add, that Covid cannot be blamed for all ills.

It's very difficult to comment not knowing the details of your proposed installation, but if you wish to mail us, we can have a look at where communication may not have run smoothly. Good customer service is a tenet of why we've been in business so long and why our customers have returned to us over many years.

“Poor Service”

I phoned to make an appointement for someone to come to my home to measure and quote for an orangery and new front door, I was told that my wife would need to be at home aswell otherwise they could not quote, I was really annoyed with that comment as Im single, surely a single person could buy a conservatory if so wished.!!! A company rep came out and measured up the door and Orangery but was told I would have to waite for the quote, I waited nearly two weeks, then to my surprise was told the rep couldnt meet up with me and the quote was text to me,with no further follow up appointements given and no follow up phone calls. I had a few questions I needed to be cleared up but havnt heard from them since.I didnt even get a price for the front door!!! Overall not impressed with the service very poor. I went to another company they came out measured everthing and quoted all within 2 hours and also did a computer drawing on how it would look once completed. Really impressed their service. I couldnt recommend this company to family or friends.

We're sorry we couldn't help you on this occasion. In the 35 years we have been in business, we have completed lots and lots of installations for single people and if a potential customer has a partner, we like to see both people together if possible simply to go through everything we do as a company and answer any queries that arise or questions regarding design or specifications at the time we present a quotation to achieve some clarity and avoid any confusion. If that cannot be achieved whatsoever, which is rare, then we will always try to work around things to suit the situation.

In the case of conservatories and orangeries, we will often return on a second visit with a CAD drawing and final quotation, often down to the complexity of the installation.

If you wish to send us your details, we are happy to have a look at your specific quotation, which sounds unusual to be honest and certainly doesn't fit with the way we do things as a company in business for such a long time with thousands of satisfied customers.

“No turn up ”

Normally cant get rid of window companies - but made a genuine booking and not turn up ? Made appiontment by man on carboot at ashfeild sunday gone - not evan a call of excuse ??? Well lets just say your out the window now !!!

“Do not use!”

We had windows fitted by Reliant in 2011. The whole experience was awful and we were well and truly ripped off! We were led to believe by the pushy salesman that they would be A rated glass however when the FENSA certificate came months later we realised they had in fact fitted C rated glass. There was nothing we could do despite going to their offices to complain. The staff were rude and unhelpful and told us it was nothing to do with them! The workmanship is also poor. We have two cracked windowsills which they never came back to fix and the bedroom window lock has been broken for a couple of years but they say it was only guaranteed for 2 years so we have to pay. Awful! I would never use them again and have recommend all my friends/family stay well clear! I only wish someone had written a review at the time we were looking to warn us what we were dealing with!

Where would I send information regarding my complaint too?
At the time the company was unwilling to resolve the issues so what has changed now? We visited your offices several times and tried to make contact by phone at the time and no one would help us then.
Surely by now, 6 years later, there is nothing you are going to do?

“not very reliant at all”

I arranged to have a quote for an orangery. The sales person arrived late, didn't seem very interested, took no measurements etc. I pointed to an orangery we were interested in, from the brochure, he took this away with him and said 'I'll send you a plan and quote which should take 2 weeks'. He didn't leave a business card and left. Obviously haven't heard anything since. I have had a quote from another company, the sales person sat down with us, superimposed it on the back of our house, gave us a figure all in the space of 2 hours - what a difference !!! I'm afraid I would never use this company again and would, if asked, from my personal experience to avoid using this company If they can't arrange for a quote professionally I would hate to think how organized the build would be.

Booked an appointment finished work early and the sales representative never showed up neither did I get a phone call. Think they need to change their companies name.

“Shocking”

never heard such nonsense where the company wont give a quote if both parties are not there at time of quote. Arranged visit and then called to ensure both parties are on site, when they found out they were not they wouldn't come. Well that's a BIG JOB lost. Definitely wont recommend.
