Bought a wreck of a bungalow late last year which needed all the windows replacing. Thought it was going to cost me a fortune as I have had some bad experiences with local window companies in the past but was quite surprised so much so that I initially was just going to replace the windows with standard ones but after getting a price I decided to go with sliding ones. I had a builder doing some internal alterations for me so I asked him if he would fit them, they look amazing and I am so pleased with them, couldn't be happier. Saving up now to have an extension later this year!

Quickslide undertook to replace our original windows with a like for like double glazed replacement. We had about £20k budget for this so were not working at the cheap end of the market. Having started the instalation mid December 2013, we are not at the end of August 2014 and they still haven't finished. This was originally going to be a 3 to 4 day instalation. We were left over the Christmas and New year with gaping holes in our home which we had to stuff with newspaper to try and keep the cold out. They have been back on site countless times and every time they turn up with either broken double glazed units, wrong double glazed units or faulty units which their own fitters decide not to even bother fitting. They have been back at least 8 times now and still haven't finished the job.

We started legal proceedings against them under the Sales of Goods Act 1982 for supplying goods that are faulty and not as described. Not only are their products very poor but the mess and damage they caused to our home has run into thousands of pounds and we are pursuing them for compensation.

They are great at selling but customer service and management's interest in resolving customer complaints is appalling. We wish we had never heard of this company.
