Appalling windows/ doors & awful upsell

Our period property was due some renovations and new fittings. We decided to order some double glazed windows, THREE to be exact! The salesman came, measured up and the choice of windows were agreed. I was not involved in this business transaction but found out that my father was badgered and forced to change our beautiful traditional front door on account of more security.
There was absolutely NO reason to recommend such a thing, other than the salesman looking for a hefty commission on the sale.

No cooling off period was offered, the door was made up before we could renege on the sale and we were stuck with a door we didn’t need or want. Crystal, however were very persuasive! Crystal have ruined what was a lovely, unique entrance all for the sake of selling their doors that have NO place in the total look of the house! They went on about more security but the original door that we had offered AMPLE security and added value to our property. The replacement door is flimsy and cheap!!! 

Buyer beware of salesmen who persist and go against your wishes. No customer satisfaction here!!!!
