I obtained a number of quotes for Double Glazed windows and tried to balance reputation, price,service and availability. I chose Crystal and the quotation visit was carried off efficiently and promptly and only took a short time,I think about a half hour. I was then contacted re the price and agreed a price which I was happy with. I then booked a survey appointment so that accurate details and measurements could be taken, about another half hour. After this an installation date was agreed and I paid a deposit with the balance due on completion. Type of windows, the quality and colour and method of fitting were all discussed.
I found the liaison between fitters and the Office a little lacking as I had been told of an arrival time of 8.30-9.30 and had asked for half hour notice phone call. I did receive a call but for an earlier arrival time and an hour and a half previous. However the installation team were v helpful,effecient and as it turned out put in a good job. Time will tell of course.
