We’ve been trying to get a wet room fitted for my disabled mum. £10000 and 8 months later we are no closer to getting anything done. They put a completely different name on the invoice which meant no one in customer services would speak to us. When we complained at the shop we were told their systems couldn’t be altered. They wanted to deliver the bathroom on a number of occasions but would not book a fitter in. My mum broke her hip in October and has early stage dementia but they wanted to deliver the bathroom 6.00 am on a Saturday but no confirmation of when work would start. They fob us off every time we speak to them. Their customer services is appalling. After they agreed to give us a discount low and behold a second surveyor came out and said my mum needed another fuse box costing another £600 which would have been a waste of money as we would have needed to get the house rewired. I admit we gave them the benefit of the doubt because of covid but enough is enough. We are now going to demand a refund. We will never ever buy anything from Wickes Dartford branch or from any other branch. I dread to think how long it will take to get a refund.
