First time that I have used this company, there delivery service was very quick and reliable. However, they have let them self-down by the condition my Mitre Saw arrived, the external packaging was in good condition. Despite this, when the saw was removed from the box it was apparent, that it had been either on display or returned for a customer. The small left-hand orientation board (Item No 186) in the parts manual that is located at the end of the slide arm (Item No 127) was missing. In addition, two small screws and spring washers (Item No 209 & 208) that are located at the end of the support bar that stops the side support wings from inadvertently being removed from the saw when they are fully extended were also missing. Lastly, the poly bag that should be wrapped in before it is placed in the box was just stuffed inside the box.

Hi just to inform you I haven't as yet received the goods I ordered

The Record Power sharpening system is not the kind of quality I expect from Record Power. The stone will need a lot of dressing and the leather wheel is a piece of cheap tin, with a very thin leather strap on it. I ordered COTTON chalk-line string, my invoice says COTTON, but the line is NYLON. Even the little wrapper on it says NYLON.

The item ordered was never received. After my initial email enquiring where my parcel was I received the following response, "We launched a new dispatch system last week and I am unable to find tracking information for your order, The person in charge of it is off today but back in tomorrow. I will discuss with him tomorrow and get back to you". That never happened I had to contact them again with the following response. "Thank you for your email. Unfortunately we have not been able to recover your parcel. I will get a full refund processed". No offer of sending the item ordered out on a special delivery service to make up for the inconvenience already caused. I am still waiting for the refund to appear in my account. I cannot fault them for politeness in their emails but the service is unacceptable. They will never get any custom from me again as there are plenty of reliable retailers out there ready to offer a good service.

Ordered online 200 no 20mm clips, fair enough a nice guy from Ray Grahams phoned me two days later to say they only had 100 in stock, and would not be getting any more til Tuesday, ok I thought and said as long as I get the delivery for the Saturday after I don't mind ,a weekend job! Yes the guy from RG said. Needless to say I missed the Saturday, the clips came the Monday after. Hence the two stars.

Ordered shelves from them. Was sent shelves that were the same dimensions but quite different design from my order. When I got in touch with them about this I was told that the photo of the shelves on this product page was for illustration purposes only! Very unhappy!

I had to attempt payment several times on the website, with several payment methods. The website kept sending me to the basket page again. The product I bought was not assembled, and did not specify anywhere that it wasn't. We bought the product for an event, and it took up a significant amount of un-planned time to construct. The product was of quite poor quality as well, with screws not lining up with pre-drilled holes and wood in bad condition. It also didn't specify that part of the product meant to look like cast iron was in fact plastic. Only the legs were metal. The styrofoam packaging was melted onto the metal as well, meaning a lot of scrubbing was needed. I'm very disappointed in the product I bought. Customer service were helpful and responsive however.

Customer services did respond to my complaint about my broken broom and contacted the seller . But their view was that I had used too much force so no refund or altenative. I am only small and this happened on the first day of using the brush so i think they were happy to be just fobbed off. so rubbish!

Website and stock management don't match up! Place an order then wait for them to order the stock to sell it to you.

I ordered some dry wall electric boxes that said on the website that they would be suitable for up to 20mm thickness of plasterboard. I ordered enough to make the postage worthwhile. I even rang the office to check they would be ok. When they arrived they were flimsy and not suitable. I've made do but I could have bought the similar ones without paying postage in a local shop.

Insufficient packaging in box this allowed the fire grate to shake about in box and this caused a lug to be broken off the back. The address label did not include our house name which meant the courier not being able to deliver on schedule fortunately I was able to contact there head office and they redirected him back. All in all a little disappointed.
