Paying For What

I was originally with clear debt another horrible company, I was then passed onto pdhl who hiked up the management fee. I was going to leave at that point but didn't which was a big mistake. Then recently I have been informed I would be transferred to yet another company so that was the last straw, I called all the companies I owe money to, who are all very helpful and understanding, informed them of the situation and that I would now be handling the payments and as a bonus I can pay more because it is not going in the pockets of people sat at a desk doing nothing. These companies say they can do this and they can do that for you but really if you do as I did and speak to the companies you owe money to and give them a breakdown of what you earn and how much you need to live on, they are very helpful and understanding. It's scary I know, but these people are very helpful and all these fee grabbers are just exploiting a desperate situation...just avoid them all!!

Sold Down River!!!!

Thankyou PDHL for causing unecessary stress- you informed me that my DMP had now been given to a company called Debt Advisors- when I did yet another financial review( no change by the way!) the advisor said because I had £700 left expenditure - the creditors would insist I pay more-- they would not help me- thanks for that!!! I have been left high and dry by pdhl and I actually phoned one of the creditors and explained the problem- he was charm itself and incredulous that pdhl and debt advisors had treated me this way- they were happy with my payments and know full well that I shall be paying in full when I retire in April 2017. I am stunned and appalled at such unprofessional actions from pdhl. I intend to phone first thing Monday and forward a grievance . In the meantime I have contacted Payplan( free!!!) yet again I have to do the financial review- thanks pdhl - you were great!- not!!

Unhappy Customer

I was a customer but received a letter saying am not with them anymore this was from the new debt company they passed on pdhl did not even send me a letter. Really bad I never missed a payment with these and they treat you like that I have asked for a update of my creditors can't even get a print out niw yet I have paid a monthly fee recently and can't get no service now never again will I go with management company got free advice and now sorting myself and no more fees.do not use them they even ring you on the day to make sure you pay your fee don't even give you change to pay on the day terrible

Lying And Clueless!

Had a debt management arrangement jointly with my husband with another company, but then one day a letter dropped on my mat stating that PDHL were taking over the account, but not to worry, everything will be staying exactly the same, just pay them the same money and they'll sort it.

What utter garbage. They took a larger chunk of my money for their own costs meaning that all my creditors ended up being underpaid. I withdrew from PDHL and made other arrangements but by then the damage was done. My credit rating is now firmly in the toilet due to them just paying less and not squaring it with my creditors. I was left in arrears with defaults I knew nothing about.

They held money back when creditors were paid off in their own accounts rather than redirecting the funds elsewhere.

Luckily I'm now out of debt but their blatent disregard for the agreements in place have left me with an appalling credit rating. My husband however now has excellent credit as we'd already paid his creditors via the previous company, so my bad credit is definitely PDHLs fault. I paid everything I was supposed to.

Don't use them. Ring your creditors and make your own arrangement. I wish I'd done it sooner.

No Understanding Of Genuine Relapse In Contact With Company

EVERYTHING GOING OK UNTILL I WAS TAKEN SERIOUSLY ILL SENT LETTER EXPLAING MY SITUATION NO REPLY TEXT NO REPLY STILL RECOVERING FROM MAJOR SURGERY TELEPHONED COMPANY TO ASK IF I COULD RESTART MY PLAN WAS TOLD NO AS IT HAD BEEN CLOSED ITS VERY DIFICULT TO COMUNICATE WITH PEOPLE WHEN U ONLY HAVE LIMITED TIME WHILE IN THE HOSPITAL

Adding New Debt

About two month ago informed that had two further debts to add and companies were putting on hold for 30 days to let pdhl get in touch with them.

Said my account had to be reviewed and made an appointment for review to take place so can add then contact the asaid companies.

My work means I have to sleep and stressed this. Stayed up till mid day and no one rang me. Still waiting. Thinking of looking for free company who cares

Do Not Use - Avoid

Had an account which was transferred in March & told I owed over £1600 with 6 creditors in fact it was £500 with 2 !!

Tried to contact & also wrote numerous times NO REPLY

paid off 2 creditors myself & still 6 weeks after getting constant demanding letters for money & saying I'm in arrears, when they owe me money.

I've felt very threatened by the lack of knowledge of anything.

They sent 2 payments on the same day to one account one for £5.00 & one £5.04 & charged me 2 separate amounts of £46.00 !!

Happy And Debt Free

I was transferred to pdhl from promise, both companies have been fine. If there was changes to anything I was always contacted by phone text or email. If you keep up with your part of the deal then it's hassle free, I managed to pay a few creditors off early and I had no charge for doing so. I hope I won't be in this situation again but I would use pdhl again if I needed.

Lazy, Unorganised,money Grabbers

Got home last night to see that they had sent me letter stating that they had sent payment out to my creditors. Even though I had cancelled my plan via telephone & and written letter over 6 weeks ago. Now I'm £77.00 down, feel violated as they have taken payment from me without authorisation & I was advised over the phone that the phone call was enough? But I went ahead anyway and wrote a letter. Now using another debt management company who have put me on a realistic plan that will be paid of in few years. I am really disgusted because the plan they had put me, they take 50% as a fee, so how can anyone get out of debt? Also various occasions I was advised that a case manager would call me as my circumstances had change - never got that call. So I approached other providers and fount one which does not take a fee. I strongly advised to stay away from this company. To get realistic debt advice. I will be calling this company today and seeking further advise as I have proof of the original letter I sent. I can't see this company lasting!
