3 years ago I went to settle my debt with 10k debt, last month I became debt free. I was thinking bout going on an iva but so glad I received a call and he changed my mind. Now it's like a weight has been lifted, I have more money to myself now obv as I'm debt free. I was worried at first cause it seemed to good to be true, but yaknow glad I took that step. As great as they are, I hope I never have to speak to them again! Lol. I can't thank them enough, but thanks again!

I was with another company for around three years and my debts pretty much stayed the same, i got intouch with SMD in Nov 2013 and had two debts settled so far. I would reccomend this company to anyone who is in need of help, you always have the same peeson looking after your account and when you want to contact them it is so easy and if its by email i normally get a reply within half an hour.

i got in touch with settle my debt when i realised i was getting to really bad finacial difficulty they where very helpfull from the start guided em through the application process adn told me exactly what to put down, they where friendley all the way through they have really got me out of a sticky and depressed state i now feel as though i have a massive weight lifted of my shoulders, i can now get back on with my life i would recenmend them to everyone who has had difficulties in managing their debt, they get you out of debt quicker than most other companys tehre models are tailored to suite the individual and you choose how much you wnat to pay and look at what is affordable

I started with Settle My Debt in 2012, unfortunately with a lot of debt to be resolved. I was ashamed by my debt and didn't have the confidence to talk to my creditors individually and other companies seemed very unapproachable. From the second I contacted Settle My Debt I knew I'd done the right thing. I was contacted straight away and we talked through my debts one by one and went through my incomings and outgoings to decide on a figure I could pay towards these each month making it affordable. Now 18 months on I am very close to becoming debt free and I couldn't have done it without their help. Several of my debts have been settled at a lower % of the full debt and it has made my goal of paying these off much more reachable. To anybody struggling to see a way out, to me this was the best way possible!

I've been with settle my debt for quite a long time, coming up to 2 years. They have been great help and have settled half of my debts! They have saved me over £3000 but settling my debts and even more as they don't charge me a monthly fee like the debt management company I used to be with. I have about £5000 of debt left and they have told me I will be looking to save a further £2000. They are always on the other end of the phone if I need help as I'm a bit if a worrier.
