Came to this site looking for a good online dating service. Not one with a bunch of creeps or college kids, but one for mature people. It compared the available services nicely, and I was able to get a free trial to a Christian dating site. So far, so good. No creeps and nobody half my age!

In search of dating advice for my latest boy issue, I came across this site and its listing of "experts." Now, most sites say they have experts, but this one actually does ... including the ability to ask CNN's Dr. Wendy Walsh your dating question.

So I sent Dr. Wendy my question (I'll spare you the details) thinking that there was no way she'd take the time to answer mine. But what do you know? She did!

Admittedly, it was kind of hard to find my question, which is why I'd really give the site a 4.5 if I could, but still. Dr. Wendy gave great advice and it was free!

I visited DatingAdvice.com to review various options for online dating. After looking at their data, I chose the first option and proceeded to take the free tour. However, it seems as though I can't really do anything on that site, like actually contacting potential dates, until I supply a credit card.

That's very frustrating. DatingAdvice.com itself is a nice site, with a lot of interesting data, but I wish the online dating process was more transparent.

Not sure if I'll visit again.

Found this site on Google when searching for match-making services, and have been fairly impressed with their results. The comparison charts are especially helpful so that you can break down gender ratios, the size of a user base, and so forth.

The reviews go pretty in depth, but if there's one thing I would add it would be more user reviews. It would be nice to have more thoughts about what was good and what was bad based upon people's experiences.

Still, I'm glad I found DatingAdvice.com. A very solid dating service and one I'd recommend to others.
