No Communication Other Than Selling Addons
Worst ever experience from a cloud solution.
After reading good reviews I setup a trial account only to be greeted by a one time offer today 20% off the price. Still price did not seem to be the one advertise on the review sites?
I therefore went through the steps to cancel the trail. I was then presented with 70% discount, to good to miss and matched the price of the review sites so I purchased.
Then an extra offer of a second year for x amount, thought OK. Then more addons to buy which I then started to question the service?
I have a nas storage server which I wanted to backup mainly my pictures but that would require one of there addon's at x amount. To backup from another machine that was an extra addon at x amount. Think you can see the picture here.
So I went through the steps to cancel one week later still trying to cancel?
In the mean time been getting promotional emails almost daily.
Avoid this service at all cost or carry out the trail to the end before you make your mind up don't be pressured into purchasing an account due to the offer.

Justcloud is the WORST experience i could have ever imagined having with a online storage account. 1st f all it took 2 months to upload my two hard drives because the speed is so slow. i paid for a faster speed and nothing changed, when I emailed them they said i paid for the files to update faster... not on initial upload. AND they refused to return the money I had spend (15$). After I had gotten most of my files uploaded, I tried to use my work internet to upload the rest because it was killing my laptop. That didnt work because it said i had to upgrade my account to a "business account" to upload from multiple computers. so I gave up. not 3 weeks later I got an email saying my account had bee "FLAGGED FOR DELETION" and all my files would be deleted if i didnt upgrade to a business account and give them more money! I couldnt believe it!!
Youre supposed to be able to trust that your files are safe with online storage and they are threatening to delete everything! I emailed them and they said there is nothing they can do... and i have to give them more money or they will delete all of my files. There is no number to call, no real person to talk to. the email said:
"Hi,
Thanks for your email.
Your account has been flagged this means we will no longer be able to have you on our personal user platform
We have to follow our Terms and Conditions, there is nothing we can now do to prevent the actions taking place.
We understand that there might be a small increase in plan cost but you will find a business account suits your backup needs better.
We do have the sole discretion to ask you to move plan type. Additionally we allow any user 30 days to recover all stored data from our first contact.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS: 14. Termination and Fair Use Policy (Sections 14 www.justcloud.com/terms)

Beware of the free trial. You get locked out of the account before it expires, leaving you unable to delete your data from their system. Their email replies are clearly automatic robots not actual people, who don't answer the question.
Do not trust them. Do not use them. You've been warned!

The Worst Company I Have Ever Dealt With
I was looking for a good solid online storage facility for my movies/mp3s etc...
As I have edit movies for a living, I have a lot of RAW camera footage which takes up a lot of space, so I needed a cloud service that could handle the amounts I needed. JustCloud popped and I read a lot of reviews from 'experts' giving it good ratings. Now I can only assume that these experts either never tried JustCloud, or they were paid to give them a good review, as the service I received, in the words of Alan Hansen, was unbelievable poor!
To start with the actual service was way too slow - I had the uploader running for a solid week (24 hours a day) and barely scratched the surface of the files i needed to back up. Granted, I do have almost 1.5TB worth of stuff, but i barely got through 50GB in all that time! To be honest, I wasn't that surprised as I know I am asking a lot, so I decided to cancel, as the website claims it is very easy to cancel. This was where I began to realise just how poorly run this company is.
So I send the email to cancel - 8 emails back and fourth later, from a different person each time, the account is definitely cancelled! I had to provide the same information multiple times as it seemed nobody I spoke to via email actually listened. I was amazed that I could have received 8 different emails from 8 different people, all just to cancel the account. Finally it was done though... ish!
The next thing I know I check my bank balance and realise two payments had been taken out by Justcloud. One a month after I cancelled, and the other a duplicate payment for the month before (which meant I paid twice the previous month) . So, I email again - I have had these problems, I want my money back etc... All very polite and factual. Another set of emails later and we are going round in circles! I keep getting asked for the same information, which I keep providing. They then eventually say they will not refund the money for no good reason.
My conclusion - There is nobody on the end of these emails. Every time I send an email it is going through to a computer system that generates a response and replies under an alter-ego. Every e-mail starts the same "thank you for your email." and ends the same "please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with". Well for starters, as a company you are by far the worst I have come across, zero customer service, bad product and all round the most frustrating thing I have ever signed up for. If you read beyond the "official" reviews to the real comments by actual users, you hear the same thing I am saying. I will get my money back from these people, I can assure you that!

I couldn't agree more. Just an awful company with awful customer support. Even after reaching out dozens of times to get help, I finally asked for a refund. I never got the refund and the only time I ever heard from the company was trying to up-sell me on their upgraded service. Buyer Beware
I know plenty of people in the same shoes as you. JustCloud are a joke!
I know of a company that is due to launch soon that will give seriously high speeds on upload and download. They will also charge you for what you use in terms of GBs not just slap you on a package that you never manage to fill or use. The company is called epic clouding and i think they are due to launch before Christmas 2012.

Hear hear!! I am going through this very same drama right now and i'm astounded at the 'good' reviews out there that lead me to sign up for JustCloud in the first place. Hands down the worst company I've ever dealt with as well.
