I have been trying for months to get a paper statement from Tesco as I cannot access my account on line. They changed the online access procedure and to get on to the new method you need to get a code sent to your mobile. But they have my old mobile number which I cannot change unless I get access to my account. Catch 22. Despite the fact I have returned the card they keep taking payments by direct debit and I do not know what they are for. I stopped the direct debit and got a letter from them immediately, yet they cannot reply to letters I send to them asking for info. You cannot contact them by e mail (they would probably ignore it anyway) and phoning results in a long wait and speaking to someone who tries to brush you off. Absolutely fed up.
