If I could, I'd give -5 stars. One time i asked for an extension to my 0% interest and they close one of my accounts and lowered my credit limit SIGNIFICANTLY on another. Im told by MBNA they sent a letter.
I didn't get the letter, and I still haven't been told why? I asked for a 30 day interest free extension as I was struggling to pay it all back on the date my 0% balance transfer expired. I needed 2 weeks actually, but the man I spoke to, for god knows how long, and after MANY times of explaining my situation, he finally understood. He assured me that my account wouldn't close or change. Then I see one of my credit cards have closed and another one lowered. I've never been late with any payments. I've always paid on time. I've had these accounts for a while. One time I asked for an extension, and my loyalties are paid with closed account and one account limit lowered!!!! My loyalty clearly meant nothing and being a customer for so long. Terrible service and an even worse way of retaining customers. Also, hire people who understand you when you speak!
