I have been using this card just over a month. I have poor credit rating and luckily I got accepted and my credit limit is £1000. I just wish the interest was lower though. I am hoping using this card will improve my credit rating. Overall I am pleased with the card so far.

Am happy with the service so far, applied about a week ago got expected and received my pin, just waiting on my card to come. My credit is very poor and could not get anything at all. They have give me a credit limit of £200 which is great for me easy to handle. I've also set my online account up and it all looks easy to understand.

Applied for this card 7 months ago , credit limit was £1500 received a letter confirming an increase to £1750 I had no credit when I applied for this! The APR on this card for me is 29.1 just applied for the tesco credit card instant approval with a limit of £3100 so it's bye,bye luma AKA Capital one...Never had a problem with this card!

This is such a good credit card as i applied and got accepted and was given the promotional interest free for about 2 months which was great and i have been managing my account so far. The only problem i have is that they gave me an initial credit limit of £200 and never increased it but i have only been with them about 7 months so maybe thats why? Overall love my luma card! Best credit card i think for people with poor credit.

I applied for this card when Capital One refused to increase my £200 limit after 7 months. Luma accepted me instantly and gave me a £1000 limit. The card has never been refused accept at a certain super market Aldi, but they hardly accept any cards. The Card is managed by Capital One, but have been assured that they do not own Luma, and I hope this is true... Can really recommend this card I never go near my limit, but the security it gives you is priceless !!! Capital One have now raised my limit to £500 ....strange...

Aldi don't except credit cards,or are you registered blind?

To Aldiboy and Marybigfatmouth... he may not have realised that Aldi will not process credit card payments. However, he was astute enough to be able to understand that it is 'accept' and not 'except'. Good day to you "simpletons" :)

So a couple of people make a slight spelling mistake "big deal" the point is Aldi don't accept credit Cards. Considering, you're a member of the "grammar" police. It's a capital letter after a "FULL STOP" idiot!

If I served you in my shop Id laugh at you with that card. I love customers who think they're it and then use a card like luma, aqua, vanquis. Pay your debts and you can have the cards that I have. MBNA barclaycard etc

Why even write a judgemental comment like that? You don't know peoples circumstances and why they have bad credit, fair enough when you get people who can't be bothered to pay their bills and end up having to get cards like this, but being self employed like myself and my father, going through serious illness and having people owe you thousands of pounds for work carried out, therefore ending up in forcing you to take the last resort of going bankrupt results in the only way of building up credit once again through cards like this. Despite your comment I hope you never have to experience hardships like that and be "laughed" at by people like yourself.

If a shop assistant laughed at me, I really wouldn't be bothered. They're the ones serving.

If I was you, I would look for another job? As you are not obviously that well paid, if you need to use credit cards. Someone doing well out of life and control of their money doesn't need a credit card at all? If you have so many credit cards, then your the fool?

A lot of you need to read some facts about credit cards, credit scoring, and what different providers look for in applicants.
Each provider looks for different things in different applicants.
Cards like this are also for people who don't have any credit so they can create it. I know people who have been victims of identity theft who have to use these cards. Some people I know have cards like Luma, Aqua etc, but have MBNA, Barclaycard. Providers like Barclaycard and MBNA have credit builder cards, and companies like Capital One have platinum cards and cards for high earners and people with impeccable credit scores. Even with a great credit score, you can still be declined for credit.
It's good to have a credit card for various purposes including showing that you can handle credit, which subsequently can keep your credit rating at a good level and if you do need to apply for a loan, credit card, even home energy and mobile phones, it shows you have/had credit and can control and manage it.
If your credit is so good, why are you looking at reviews for this card anyway?
