I have been dealing with a girl at Travelopo got the feeling she couldn't be bothered with my enquiry. When I asked where she was based It transpired that they were based in Mallorca even though they are a British company. Speaking to my friends they didn't want to book with them as they had heard about Lowcost Holidays who were also British based in Majorca who have gone bust. A word of warning be careful who you book with as you would loose your money if anything happened to them.

This company posts their own fake reviews........... If it walks like a duck,talks like a duck............then it's a DUCK!!!!

Just returned from a fabulous week in mallorca . The villa we rented with Travelopo was wonderful and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Horrible customer service after you pay no one to call

After being let down on another site , found Travelopo site ,as it was a busy time of year most places were booked ,but spoke to someone in Spain ,who said they would email all available places ,true to there word got them in 5 minutes,found a lovely one in CAla D'or ,spoke to the agent in the UK ,who sorted everything out within an hour ,1 St class service. When we arrived at the villa couldn't believe how nice it was ,10 minutes walk from 2 beaches ,20 minutes walk from the centre of town ,the villa it self was in very good condition there was 5 of us but 10 people could stay here comfortable,,the pool was a good size ,all in all I can not speak highly enough about Travelopo or the villa

This is the second time I've stayed at a villa with travelopo and have nothing but praise for them, both have been stunning villas and had more than enough facilities even including tin foil lol! And the villa we just left had cat food for our nightly visitor! The locations of the villas are fantastic and well advertised as to whether a car is advisable. We were provided with wifi which was great, we had a problem with the aircon on one day and they sent someone round the same day to fix it. My only negative is that when calling the emergency number (air-con flood) nobody answered which does need to be addressed but apart from that perfect

Advertised as prestige....the photos on the website were not a true vision...taken 10?years ago. Hazardous nails sticking out of pool decking..dangerous glass shelves and plug holes in the showers. Plaster falling off the walls in bedrooms...filthy barbecues...and mouldy smells in cupboards. Very rusty bar stools and filthy patio...

Two gazebos and hammock missing...replaced by a couple of umbrellas when I complained...

Travelopo say it was up to standard...won't compensate and are NOT now members of ABTA.

Very good efficient service from beginning to end. Would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone!

I have used travelopo a few times. no better or worse than many other company i've ever used over the years. I take no notice of ABTA accredited travel companies as I was stung a few years a ago when a travel company went bust and ABTA never refunded me. I always pay by credit card now as this gives total protection. One thing i would say about travelopo is they always responded to me straight away and they were always very professional.

We booked to go with Villaparade for 26th April 2014 for £405 to Puerto Pollensa. Three days before our travel (yesterday) we were advised by Villaparade that Travelopo have taken over Villaparades contracts on a good deal of their lettings and we were now unable to take up our apartment. We received an email from Travelopo advising that they were "holding the reservation" for us and to contact them. When i did they told me i had to pay £732 for the same apartment!!

Today they advised they would now honour our original payment - too late!! having been advised 3 days before our departure we no longer had our accommodation unless we paid £325 more we booked alternative accomodation straight away!

ABTA have also confirmed that Travelopo are no longer members as from 15th April 2014 - they obviously anticipated overcharging customers and ruining their holidays as in our case!
