I've been wearing yearly contacts 12+ hours a day for the last 15 years, never had any problem, even a dry eye. After 3 days of wearing Oasys (I'm not sure whether with Hydraclear or not) I've developed the dryest eye in my life. After a week (encouraged by the doctor to wear the contacts anyway, because 'eyes are getting used to new technology') I've developed blepharitis and can't wear contacts for the next few weeks, at least. I don't think it's a coincidence that I came to the ophtalmologist with perfectly healthy eyes, and after wearing the new contacts I end up on eye hospital A&E. These shouldn't be given to people without a warning. I hope my eyes recover and I am able to use contacts without thinking about them again.
