Air travel is a hellish experience but the airlines play only a limited part in this agony. A 737 is a 737 no matter who owns it and Zoom flys only 737s. Seats are cramped with little leg and elbow room. Comparing it to a bus is insulting to busses as they are far more comfortable. Of course customs and security is a pain and baggage handling at Pearson is atrocious (try to bring carry on bags only). So what does the airline have control over? I booked my car easily and discover had a great contract customer service. The lady at the desk for car picking up was very friendly and helpful! She could understand our needs perfectly. The car provided was clean and apparently ok but when I drove a car for minutes I realized that there is some problem with the gear. I’ve rented a Mercedes GLE on 11Nov2022 at Victoria station. But it was a terrible experience, traumatizing. I was asked to pay £800 for insurance that I do not know existed until the last minute. It was not mentioned by the staff until I asked. It was scary as I do not speak much english and the staff half-forced me to pay this unknown insurance. Only adding a second star because we rented a car successfully and the employee who rented us it was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately a few weeks after we hired the car we received a notice from Enterprise saying we have a traffic violation and they are charging us a £35 'admin fee' for passing the news on, but we would also hear directly from the people issuing the fine. Do not rent from this company. As been said before they charge the deposit instead of blocking it and never return it. Don't answer the phone and if they do the boss is never around. I booked a car online with full insurance on do you Italy website, on the collection day, the car I booked, the cheapest one, wasn't available so the company Maggiore gave me a brand new one and said the insurance from Do You Italy is not valid for them and that I had to pay an additional 36 euros per day to have insurance on my car, they said that if I didn't and my car was damaged or lifted I should have paid 1000 euros or 2400 euros fee.
