Booked a car rental through Rentadent Christchurch, NZ. Pickup of car was booked for 20th February, 2017. Due to family illness we had to change things, so rang them on the 17th Feb to cancel, and after checking was told that the credit card will not be charged. Yet it was. On the 19th Feb - the day before the actual booking. I have been using Choice vans and car hire since I moved down to Brighton in 2006. Recently when I rented a car from from them late 2016, I had to print out my driving licence counterpart from .gov.uk using a print function within that website. This morning, as I was again going to rent a car from them, I tried to print out the same document from gov.uk but found their website has altered and there is no print function anymore. This is a company that consists of El Mar Services El Mar Luxury and Tenerife Airport Transfers. We had booked two transfers but due to circumstances we wanted to cancel these two. In their own rules and regulations they state that if you cancel a transfer 48 hour prior to the pickup time there whould be no problems at all. Me and my gfs visited Mauritius last December and book with this company. The price was among the bests, and we paid in advance. We had some doubts, because apart from the instant confirmation email we haven't heard of them anymore, but they were waiting for us at the airport with my name on a big sign, so everything was superb.
