The battery in the tank unit failed after 6days, I replaced the battery which then lasted 4 days. Dunraven suggested I fix a piece of sellotape to hold the battery in place, I did this, still low battery alarm. GREE AIR-CONDITIONER NEVER WORKED I have recently purchased a totally refurbished smart house with a brand new Gree unit installed. No one had lived in the house since the Gree was installed. And even though the previous owners gave us all the paper work for the supply and purchase including the warranty, Gree would not honur the warranty as I am not the original purchaser. Not acceptable Gree .
Had the fire 10 years now. Puts out lots of heat, never needed it on full power for long. Very stylish. Issues. Changing the batteries is a real pain. Need to remove front of fire (screws underneath) which is awkward and fiddly and they seem to run out a couple of times a year. NON exist customer service or tech support. Manufacturer does NOT care about customers and refused to talk, address, or fix issues. they don't have ANY SORT of customer service and ANY KIND of tech support!! Tech support has been ignoring this situation for over 3 months, refusing to respond or conduct ANY on site inspection. If you are right handed, KNAW off your hand before you sign up for a Gree unit. It WILL be less painful. ANY other brand no matter how bad it is would NOT reach the low level of this company
I purchased two units from Senville last year and due to ongoing renovation, I just installed the units couple weeks ago. One of the units was not prefilled with Freon and after contacting their Technical department, they advised me to get a technician to fill the unit with refrigerant and they would pay for it.
