I purchased a beautiful blouse for my friends wedding last year. It was a sheer blouse so I had to wear another top underneath, and made the mistake of cutting out the care labels as they were quite visible through the sheer top. I wore it for the wedding then put it back in my wardrobe without washing it, as it wasn't dirty and I had got the other top underneath. It was a loose top. When I came to wear it earlier this year I put it on, only to notice that the front had started to Frey away from the front seam. I barely had to touch it and it was falling apart. It had been worn once! It was a fault. When taking it back to the store they said that because I had pulled the care label out of it there was nothing they could do. It still had the upper labels in.

I made the mistake of trusting them when buying another top for another of my friends weddings last Thursday. I purchased it on the Tuesday with next day delivery. I then received an email on the Wednesday afternoon to say they had sent it to the wrong depot so I wouldn't be receiving it in the time I had requested and they had refunded my postage. I was there for left without a top for the wedding and had to rush out on Thursday morning to buy one. And I was left £40 out of pocket until the item was returned and allowing 3-5 days clearance.

After complaining about these issues, I received an email from them, four days later. Even though they aim to respond within 2, stating that they were sorry and as an apology they would like to offer me free express delivery on my next purchase.

I will not be purchasing from this unreliable company again.

I have had a similar problem with a blouse I wore twice, washed once and a hole appeared in the front. I sent it back to them and they have returned it to me saying it was not a manufacturing fault and they would not be offering a refund. So basically £35 down the drain. Disgraceful, I will never use them again nor any Arcadia Group company.
