Since I was a kid I have been fascinated with cars, modified & standard mainly VW's. As soon as I was old enough to drive I was hooked into the VW scene. I was insured with another well known company until I decided to modify my car. They wanted to double my policy. I searched around & everyone was raving about these guys & there was advert in my bible: PVW magazine. I can really say I was stunned, half my original policy, everything declared & any cosmetic mods free. These guys were a godsend & been with them many years now. When it comes to insuring a car which means more to you than simply a driving necessity then Brentacre are the obvious choice. The staff see your enthusiasm for your speciality car in the same light that you do and their similar appreciation of such vehicles makes the process simple and easy to achieve. Brentacre are a 'can do' company and will endeavour to get the best policy for you and not dismiss your request simply beacuse it is not a 'run of the mill' vehicle. From my experience I have found them to be knowledgable, competitive and friendly and when I have wanted to update my policy there has never been any hassle.

Was recommended to contact the advisor at Brentacre and found him to be really helpful with quick service! He guided me through the various questions and was able to give me a quote within minutes. And he beat the other insurance providers to offer me a great value policy. He is a really easy to deal with guy who knows what he is talking about. I was very pleased with both the service and the deal and plan to renew with them when my next policy is due.

After buying myself a nice T4 VW van for leisure use I phoned several insurance companies to obtain quotes, many were just not interested while others just heaved up the quote to an unrealistic unaffordable price, my vehicle is only slightly modified and i was beginning to regret my latest project almost to the point of selling it on, I was asked to try Brentacre and I was amazed at the professionalism and the knowledge of the staff employed there, I felt as though I'd known the advisor for years after the conversation, I felt at ease immediately knowing that my asset was now insured legally and above board for a very reasonable amount, the advisor carefully detailed everything about the policy including all relevant charges and there were no hidden charges or catches, all paperwork was delivered next day and well detailed, I would highly recommend this small friendly professional team to anyone considering owning modified vehicles, Brentacre all the way :)

I'm not with Brentacre at the moment, but I called up for a quote on a 1.4 16v conversion I'm planning. Having previously been quoted £1500 but Adrian Flux, the lovely guy on the end of the phone got me a quote for £750!! Lovely customer service, was extremely friendly and understood that I was a car enthuasiast, not a boy racer.

Brentacre saved me about £900 on my renewal so as soon as I joined I was pretty happy! Every time I've needed to call them the staff have been polite and could not have done enough to help me. I love that they'll insure my car no questions asked and can't wait to hear about my mods unlike other companies I've used in the past. I pay a great price for excellent service and great cover, can't really ask for more than that!

After a bad experience with Insurance Factory trying to charge me £65 to swap my V6 sports car for a Scenic with no claims or convictions, then £75 to NOT change the car as they wouldn't keep me insured on the V6 as it was scrapped. Brentacre gave me a new price which beat any renewal before even knowing prices. For £50 less, I am on their comprehensive policy with key and legal cover compared to other websites quoting more for Third party fire and theft. So far, very happy.
