George & Dragon, Glazebury

Came across here by accident and was very impressed will defiantly be returning. A few of us went for a meal and some of us went two for £10 and two of my friends had meals off the specials! And wow it was great food was hot and tasty and a good size. We seen some big plates go past that look great. And will be defiantly be trying them when we return! Staff were very friendly an made us feel welcome. They also had a great offer on the wine of buy two large glasses and get the rest of the bottle free and it was very nice wine too. Would recommend this place to anyone. I can't wait to bring my family here so we can try the kids play area.

Very poor childrens play area which is dated , dirty and poorly supervised. The staff especially the manager have a serious attitude problem . The food is is a flashback to the 1970's but with the addition of being cooked by a microwave. Never again !

Food is poor. Service is awful. Children's play area is dated and the outdoor section in need of refurbishment. Why on earth would anyone book this dive for a children's party.

Great service, great food! Would definately reccommend. All food was freshly prepared and the portion size was absolutely massive.

the 17 inch platters are a sight to see let alone try to eat the staff are very helpful and go out of thier way to make you feel welcome and that nothing is too much troble. The Mega ice cream Sundae is as the name says. This was our first but it will not be our last. The childrens play area is a must for children. They also have an outside playarea but was rainning on the day we went.

George & Dragon Glazebury is dreadful. It says under new management - somebody chose the wrong career. Food was microwaved rubbish, which we expected, but we did think it might be hot (or quite hot anyway) it was cold or lukewarm. When we complained, it was taken back to the kitchen, then immediately brought back to us, with the statement that the chef had put a probe into it and says that it is as warm as it needs to be!

I'm not interested in what microwave man says, if I say it's lukewarm, it's lukewarm. Avoid this place, at least until management changes again, which shouldn't be long
