Great straightforward process and great value for money. “No reward for Loyalty”

I have been a customer for some 6 years and during that period have not made a claim but despite my loyalty I have been required to meet ongoing increases in my annual premiums.it is difficult to understand why there are no rebates as the communication between us is minimal and the process fer renewal is very simple with little effort required and conducted online… Read Full Review

“Extras that should be standard”

I first insured my static in a rush to comply with the site rules and was off abroad in a day.when the renewal came I was first surprised there was no NCD ,the covering letter reffered me to the enclosed renewal guide booklet and that it contained ideas on how I could reduce my premium. As it appears you have used an alias to leave your review it’s hard to offer accurate advice. We’d be more than happy to look further into this matter if you could contact us directly.

Reviewing insured sums is one of the more common ways to affect your premium. Our advisers are trained to check the policy meets your needs and that everything you want to covered in the event of a claim is insured.

It does sound as if during your call to see if a reduced price was possible, it was identified you wanted more rather than less cover.

Note that clothing and other items you take from home are classed as personal possessions. Insuring these items is the customer’s decision. An existing household policy may already provide cover for such items whilst used in and around your caravan.

If you were introduced to Leisuredays via a partner park, these rates are already tailored towards the whole site’s risk profile and don’t offer no claim discounts. We do however, offer no claims discounts to owners of caravans on non partner parks.

My point was I do not take clothes and bedding it stays there but I was lead to belive this was an extra, the leaflet did not contain a single way to reduce anything

It is a pleasure to deal with the staff who are really interested in getting you a good deal. The cover is great as our van is 13 and market value suits. You can add cover for gadgets legal costs or emergency repairs. When you ring in all is required is your post code and the friendly staff are very helpful. “Outrageous Charges for changing my contact details”

Having recently moved home, i called leisuredays to amend my contact details. No actual changes to my policy were required. This is the only option for making such communication as there is no online facility for customers to do this themselves. I was shocked to be asked to pay £15 after i had given my change of address. We do try to keep our admin fees as low as possible and make sure they’re in line with other insurance companies. The costs take into account the extra work involved in amending an individual policy and are outlined in the policy wording.

“Insurance refused for a brand new holiday chalet.”

I have been with this company for several years as they insured my Motorhomes. I was always very satisfied with their service, in fact it was excellent. However we have now had a brand new holiday chalet built on a campsite that has planning permission and is registered with the County Council and The National Parks.
