I purchased a brand new Bailey twin axle caravan from Ropers. At the time of purchase they were very friendly and helpful, only too pleased to take my money. At just over two years old the van developed a serious roof leak along the joint at the rear of the van. This is a fault Bailey's are fully aware of. There have been many blogs on the subject.I am led to believe that Bailey's have even introduced a modified joint to as a replacement. Even though this is a known problem ropers service Dept insisted that I bring my van in to thier workshop for inspection (a 75 mile round trip and a day off work) before they would process a warranty claim. They also said that even if a warranty claim was approved they could not carry out the work until July or August. I contacted them in mid APRIL.
I asked them how I could leave the van with rain water poring in for 4 MONTHS. The reply was to take the van to another dealer.
In other words $&*%$ off we don't want to know.
