My wife and I decided we would look at a Lunar Clubman at Campbell's Lostock Hall site. We didn't intend to buy a new caravan but the experience we had with their salesman was so pleasant we ended up getting the best we could afford. The sales team were not pushy, gave us plenty of time and space and with a complimentary cuppa on our own to consider our options.
When we had decided the salesman was very helpful and friendly and offered a reasonable part exchange on our previous caravan and, despite other's comments, this was adhered to when we eventually took ours in. The deed done on a lower spec caravan we left but overnight we changed our minds to the higher specification display model from the showroom. When we phoned up to change our order it was done with no fuss at all and we were given a date to collect. We had noted a couple of minor items that had been damaged during display (a common occurrence)and were assured these would be attended to.
Two weeks later we arrived to collect our new caravan and were given the same friendly, courteous service from the salesman and excellent handover man. The caravan was immaculate and ready for us to drive away. The damaged items had been corrected and we were and are delighted with it.
Since then we have found two or three missing parts that we think would not have been picked up in the pre-delivery inspection and all it needed was a phone call and they were here a day or two later.
When I needed questions answering on specific technical details I was contacted promptly by the head of the Workshop Department who again could not have been more proactive and helpful.
We cannot fault Campbells Caravans at all and long may it last. Well done them!
And well done to Lunar Caravans for the 2015 Clubman SB we now have. It is a pleasure to own.
