Please do not use this company. I used one of their mechanics, who turned up and then charged me for commission and VAT. I discovered that I had been changed the mechanic's commission HE should be paying to the company & VAT was already in the quote. I wonder how many people their mechanics do this to. When reporting this to whocanfixmycar, they didn't care, have stopped replying to my emails, so they are obviously aware that this goes on. I left a negative review, and their mechanic started making threats, turned up at my door with another man at almost 10pm at night. Police have been called twice and have now opened up a criminal case. I have all CCTV and texts from their mechanic. Do yourself a favour and take your car to a normal garage.

When I finally managed to get my car back into their workshop, they had the audacity to charge me for the same parts and labor they had already supposedly fixed. It's clear that their primary motivation was to squeeze every penny out of unsuspecting customers like myself. To my shock and dismay, upon receiving my vehicle for the second time, I discovered that the steering rack had been tampered with, resulting in dangerous handling issues. Additionally, the brake light switch was broken, causing the brakes to remain engaged even after turning off the engine. This blatant act of negligence puts both my safety and the safety of others on the road at risk. Furthermore, the mechanic managed to introduce a leak in my gearbox, which not only compromises the performance of the transmission but can also lead to costly repairs in the future. To top it all off, they completely destroyed the arm ball joints, resulting in a constant and unsettling grinding noise while driving. It's crucial for potential customers to understand the gravity of this situation. This mechanic operates without any regard for customer satisfaction, safety, or ethical business practices. It's astonishing that a business like this even exists, considering the extensive damages they inflict on vehicles. I strongly advise against entrusting your vehicle to this mechanic. Not only are they unprofessional and unreliable, but their actions also border on criminal behavior. Please exercise caution and choose a reputable and trustworthy mechanic to avoid the distress and financial burden I have endured. Operations Officer has confirmed that even though you book a RAC mobile car service via the RAC website that they have subcontracted the service to Who Can Fix My Car! Is this legal? My service via the ‘RAC’ was very poor: • A tyre tread was calculated at 5mm across the tyre, but an MOT 37 miles after the ‘RAC’ service calculated it at 5.2.3mm with a recommendation that the tyre is changed. • My spare tyre was calculated 6.6.6mm but I do not have a spare tyre! • The mechanic Reset my Service interval but I do not have this facility on my car. • My car was taken to a Road Test which did not happen. I complained to the RAC that I thought the complete service had not been carried out and it was not value for money, and they are not interested. Very poor service from an organisation which I thought was a professional company.

I required a simple brake bleeding job. I was quoted nearly £600!!!! The lowest was just over £330 I contacted Bmw who was less then the lowest here. This service is not fair on garages as it's them who get the bad reputation. You could say I had a lucky escape, but when one of the quotes was a garage I've previously done work for. I knew something was wrong.

as a garage who was aprt of the network ,i can truely say do NOT use internet companies like this, they are just classed as the middle man with appauling customer care. i would strogly advise you just call the garage direct and let them give you the best honest quote

Writing as a garage that was signed up to WCFMC, subscription increases, fee increases and the introduction of Smart Quotes have made this platform unusable. The commission that they charge for each job has to be recuperated by the garages or they go out of business and its the customer that pays so if you are a potential customer and looking to find a garage I'd advise just ring round a few local in your area, you'll get a better price and a better service.

If your a garage owner you need to avoid these guys. They got a vehicle towed to us, the customer needed a clutch we couldn’t do it there and then (Friday afternoon no joke) customer chose to get recovered home, 150 miles south. Who can fix my car charged me £15 commission for tow in. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Customer doesn’t show up, £15-20 maybe more, depends on job. If your a customer.... wake up, who pays for the commission? Well probably you. Call 2 or 3 garages, tell them your phoning around you’ll get it at the lowest possible price.

poor at best after being with them for nearly 3 years and heaving nearly 200 bookings they decided to introduce smart quote, the problem with this system is it gives inaccurate quotes and causes people to call up with no mention of wcfmc so we quote to them and carry out the work, wcfmc they call the customer to see if they have had the work done to which they say yes it went to us, so they happily charge commission to us £33 in this case, so we call up wcfmc and explain that the customer came direct and made no mention of using there site, so they just automatically charge you there commission, and rather arrogantly say prove it didn't come through us! as a long standing garage this was the 3rd or 4th time this has happened with them and only the first time we challenged them and they just chose there 30 quid over our potential business, so there response is to try and continually remove our honest and frank review, in total they have charged us around 70 quid in commissions that they have had nothing to do with! so just go direct to garages as we all add the commission on top so its cheaper to go direct, not even had a apology from them!

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE, I was a garage working with whocanfixmycar.com ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. I am a local Garage in Milton keynes, I was working with whocanfixmycar.com, They brought out a new Auto/Smart quoting system which generated a quote for many different types of jobs, as soon as the customer has accepted the quote they would charge me instantly even if the customers booking was a week away or the customer never showed up and I would have to explain with a valid reason as to why I need a refund for that booking. I told them to turn that off for me as the quotes were completely incorrect (prices) for example, It would quote a Modern vehicle for Front & Rear brake Disc & pads for £170.00 all inc parts and labour which is way below what it would cost in a normal workshop. They wouldn't turn the system off as they said this is how they will proceed for all future job applications from customers. Obviously many customers would accept the ridiculous price and I would get charged for the booking immediately even if the customer never showed up etc. I asked them to terminate my account as customers were unhappy and i was getting poor feedback with regards to incorrect pricing due to their poor system. They completely ignored my request and carried on smart quoting customers for over another month even after I had sent them over 8 emails about why my account has not been closed. I had called many times but they started to ignore my phone calls. I have never been treated by another company in such a manner. I would never work with them again and I highly recommend you be careful before you sign up with them even though it was a 30 days rolling contract they would not cancel it until I threatened them that I will be in touch with the ombudsman and also my bank as you are taking money from my account when It should have been terminated over a month ago!!

You are secretly charged a commission which is added onto the garages job you wont know about is as the garages are not allowed to tell you. So do not ring the phone number for the garage on profile page as its not theirs, WCFMC will listen in via that. Just google the garages name and ring them direct. My advice is get the quote and ring the garage direct and ask them to take something off as you are saving them the fee. Then leave the garage feed back on their website,facebook page. WCFMC or Whocanfixmycar are just a middle man getting rich of the garages hard work.
