I cannot speak too highly of the quality of the repair, in which a new front door was fixed and the damage to the adjacent rear door repaired and painted. What was frustrating was the overall length of time, with the car delivered on 8 January following the damage incident on 15 December. An initial anticipated completion of 28 December was nearly achieved, at a reported 93% on 27 December, but the need for additional parts, and finding a part on back order that necessitated re-sourcing led to the delay. The Christmas period clearly did not help. Full marks to the team for the workmanship, and the superb cleaning / valeting job - remarkable. When I had direct contact with Solus I was extremely impressed with the people I spoke to, after initially monitoring progress via the GA team.
