Spoke to several representatives who persuaded me to wait a few days as they were fully booked. They quoted me a price and confirmed the price on two occasions only for them to send me a quote on the day of the booking that was more expensive than they quoted. When I challenged it I was told that they quoted for the wrong part and there was nothing they could do. I had to cancel. Best to use a local dealer windscreen or trade windscreens in your area. Check yell/thompson. Quicker, cheaper and usually more reliable.

The most disjointed and useless company I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Only forced to use them by my insurance company otherwise I wouldn't have bothered due to all the bad reviews...........they've left me without a car due to a windscreen not being ordered for over a week and they couldn't care less. NO apology and quite frankly like so many other companies who know they're going to get the business regardless of their poor service...........they are totally apathy to customers is a joke

Very poor customer service. Was advised the fitter will turn up at 5.30. I have rung them at 5.50 to ask where he is and then have been told this will be between 5.30-9 PM! Very poor service from the fitter as well. Had to provide extension led for the man to clean my car, the broken glass have been put to GENERAL WAIST been by my house, carpark has been left in unacceptable condition- glass and other bits form glass on floor.

This company have messed me about and are completely hopeless. I organised the day off work to be at home to wait for a replacement windscreen only to receive yet another call from them to cancel at 5pm the day before. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. How the hell do they get away with this kind of 'service'?

Phoned them about fitting a side window in my van's sliding door, after taking All my details, apart from my date of birth, well almost, the person on the phone said "thank you this will be passed to your local branch and they will contact you with a price and an appointmant date first thing this afternoon"! Well that was 24 hours ago and no one has phoned back!How do these firms / people manage to stay in business? If they had to work for themselves they wouldn't last long if they adopted this kind of business attitude.

School boy fitters ruined my car! Damaged paintwork, ruined rubber trims, and NOW since windscreen replacement the car squeaks constantly around windscreen My lovely car is now awful to travel in! 3 attempts to sort the issues NIGHTMARE!......still not right! JUST LIKE THIS COMPANY!

I called them on the 2nd May and paid the excess on the same day. The first technician forcibly taken off the window as it was not properly smashed (just broken in the middle). He has broken the window regulator and left without informing me as the owner. Not only that, he left loads of screw driver marks on the rubbers, and the body works. Your website states : " you can relax, safe in the knowledge that your vehicle is being looked after by the qualified technicians" - but clearly your guy did not really care. As long as the job is done it does not matter if they mess the other car parts. The window arrived 4 days later and not the promised 1-2 days. Your second technician who attended on the 06th May, confirmed that the regulator was broken but also insisting that the regulator was shattered when the window was broken, but I insisted the windows are intact from the side and the broken one is only in the middle as being hit by a brick. luckily I have taken a picture before it was taken off and showed him and I have a neighbor who witnessed the removal of the broken glass too that the window is not totally shattered hence forcibly removed by the first technician by not removing the other screws. I called their head office on the 6th may, but no one is able to help me. they said I will have to wait for a phone call from a manager on Monday (8th May)to sort out the issues as their second technician has already reported the issue. I asked if they can order the broken item that they've damaged can be ordered now as it has already been confirmed by their 2nd technician but they still insisted that no one can help or authorise and it will only be on Monday (8th May) when the manager arrives. It's a very poor customer service if no one can authorize anything on the weekend.. I am really very dissatisfied customer.

I booked windscreen replacement with national windscreen for today. They didn't turn up i phoned them up. Their excuse is they don't know the last number of my phone awww U text me a day before about review of the service you guys can't do The lady i spoke to was rude she thinks she knows it all

Absolutely awful! Would never recommend. Very unfriendly man came to replace windscreen and damaged my car. Spoke to manager who said there was nothing they can do and was very patronising on phone. Car will now not pass mot. Horrible service horrible staff will never go with national windscreens again.

I have a lease car so get no choice on who repairs my windscreen. They must be the cheapest but whatever the deal they are rubbish. I rang a week ago and was offered am today by an unpleasant individual. I rang back the next day and spoke to a nice lady who said it had actually been booked in for pm today. I should have taken that as a bad omen. I took the day off work from the NHS when I could have been doing important work and waited and waited. At 4.00pm I rang to check they were still coming. Apparently not, as the manager had to go out and help on another job. He rang they said but that was untrue, he also sent a text also untrue. They were coming tomorrow they said. I told them not to other as I wouldn't be there, at least I had the decency to tell them which is more than they did for me. I asked if I should complain to my leasing company but they said they didn't know. I would have thought that they would have had the complaints department number imprinted on their brains because they get so many. So no windscreen, no appointment and no apology. I wanted to complain about the service, silly really as I never got any. Don't use this company if you have a choice.

National windscreen, Peterborough. They fitted my windscreen once, it leaked. They came out a second time, surprise surprise it leaked again. My footwell is now flooded and the water is damaging my electrics on my very expensive BMW. They have totally ruined my car and have done an awful job twice. They wanted to come out and fix it a third time but I told them where to stick it. Never ever ever use that company. Complete idiots.

I try 2 weeks to change my windscreen. On the first attempt 2 guys came with 2 different vehicle and as it was rainy day and they came without gazebo fitted so they could`t do any job. I still don't understand why they came. Absolutely rubbish. Second time on next week (as they apparently didn't have any earlier appointment) they came with different windscreen which didn't match with my car one so the job couldn't be done again. Absolutely joke and rubbish. Milton Keynes National Windscreen total rubbish service. I`m still waiting for my windscreen to be changed. I don't recommend at all.

the worst service I ever came across, the customer service is so poor. after i paid them the excess fee they told me they will put a plastic window first until the window is ready. they made me wait 10 days they did not even put the plastic window on or even call me, when i tried calling them they kept on saying we will do the Job in the evening. after the 10th day they came to fix the window but, came with the wrong window and went without doing the job. when I contacted them they said I will have to wait another 10 days. I could not believe it how can they make such a big mistake. I work with my car I waited too long they made me fall ill from the stress they have given me. I called them up and cancelled the job. please do not use their service. the worst service ever.I advise haven insurance company to go with a different company or they will lose customers.

I arranged an appointment to have my screen replaced on 18 Jan and I was told the screen would arrive on 24 Jan. As I could not have it done mid week, I opted to have it done on 28 Jan. On the morning of the 28 Jan I telephoned to try and get an ETA and was told, 'Oh we can't do it today. We tried to call you but did not get an answer.' There were no missed calls on my mobile. Total waste of time. I called Auto Glass and it was done within 3 days.

Turned up late after I had rung the service centre to find out if they were still coming. Friendly couple of young lads and because it was dark and cold I left them to fit the new windscreen in my 2016 VW Passat. About 45 minutes later they rang to door bell to tell me it was all done. After they left I found the carpets and mats covered in mud on both sides. The windscreen trim on the passenger side wasn't fitted properly, standing proud and loose at the bottom, so I removed and refitted correctly. Of major concern and annoyance was the fact that the passenger side wiper blade had been fitted about 5 inches to far up the windscreen. Not only obscuring vision, but risking collision with the other wiper arm and increasing wind noise. I then noted that my parking ticket clip is now loose floppy and no longer holds a ticket anymore. Not National Windscreens but National Disgrace. Avoid Avoid Avoid Avoid Avoid Avoid Avoid Avoid Avoid and Avoid !
