I took a Renault Megan to the F1 garage 81 Barn Rd, Norwich NR2 4UB
For a routine can belt change.
The manager decided to allow one mechanic to dismantle the engine and a different mechanic to put it all back together again!
The inevitable happened and they smashed all the valves on the top end as well as damaging the crank shaft bearings.
He never apologized just told me they would replace the engine.
In actual fact they got another cylinder head from a scrap yard and left the damaged bottom end in situ.
They then refused to return the car until we agreed to pay.
After 3 weeks we got the car back with a damaged bottom end and other various bits missing.
Scandalous service, dishonesty and very poor workshop management has caused us no end of inconvenience, misery and debt.
Avoid this place like the plague.
Dangerous practices happen here.
