“Avoid, use proper garage services.”

My car was booked into the Cambridge branch 2 weeks before it was scheduled to go in for the required work. Less than 2 hours before my car was due in, I received a telephone call informing me that the supplier had sent the wrong 'cats' for my car. The work was rescheduled for 5 days later and I drove it to the branch. “STAY WELL AWAY. ”

Booked in here for new pads and discs and two new tyres. They fitted my pads and discs but then I was told they had a problem getting my tires. After waiting two weeks, I asked for a refund and told them I need new tyres ASAP. I was told that wasn't a problem and my refund would be granted. Two weeks later and I am still waiting. “Car went in for 3hrs - they kept it for 69 days!”

My recently MOTed and well-kept car went in for a simple clutch replacement (3hr job) and they kept my car for over 2 MONTHS! They made up lots of excuses, didn't have the tools to do the job, kept finding new things I had to pay for once they'd taken the wheels off (so I couldn't go elsewhere) and were rude. During this ordeal I had to literally source the part they said I suddenly needed and then chase them up to get it, just to recover my car!

“AVOID AT ALL COSTS”

I needed to get the 2 cars in my household serviced and MOT'd so after searching on Google i found Concorde Auto Centre and the prices looked competitive so I gave them a call, I was quoted a fair price so i booked. “Constant delays and calls rarely returned ”

We are now 5 weeks into what I was told would be a 4 day job and I am still trying to get my car back from this bunch . I chose this garage because they assured me that working on my Japanese import Toyota would be no problem. The work required on the engine would take just 4 days as they had already got the parts in. I absolutely agree with your experience. 4 weeks of not calling me & promising by 'end of the day' my car would be returned has left me exasperated. I have just had my car returned £800 later & the same warning light is still on & my car is still in limp mode.Do not be fooled by the charming chaps on the end of the phone. They lie and lie.

They failed to competently repair my elderly mother's car and then refused to put it right even after an independent expert 's report (accepted by the judge in our court case against them) confirmed the repairs they carried out were completely incompetent as well as dangerous and caused rear brake failure after passing it through its MOT after carrying out MOT repairs. There are many inaccuracies in this review.

He requested that we replaced the brake pipes and he then replaced the calipers, which was not admitted by him but discovered on call recordings.

He had an issue with his motor car and went on an online tirade against the company, so we organised an independent inspection on his car. He refused to allow this so we paid and recovered the costs.

The first being arranged by Dekra through ourselves as he and his mother refused an independent report on recorded phone lines. The Dekra report showed that in fact that the work we had performed was correct and proper. Over one month later after the vehicle had left us, he arranged a report with another independent after the vehicle had been taken away from us which was conflicting.

The judgement was made on the two conflicting reports and it was proven in court that he had lied about prior work on the motor vehicle - demonstrated on a call recording to the court, and how the photos were taken for the second report as these were one month after the work was performed by ourselves. despite on Court record being claimed a day later by Mr Humphrey - which due to the digital inprint was proved against him.

The only true part of this review was in fact that the judgement was against us due to the second report being preferred by the Judge on 51% proof of balance of probability. In other words he was incredibly lucky considering the failings of honesty which are all on Court Recorded Minutes.

Couldn't even replace a headlight bulb! I took my car in to get a headlight bulb replaced at the Cambridge branch, this should be a 30 min job at most - they left me in the waiting room for over 2 hours! Eventually the car was ready and I took it home. On the way home I discovered that all the lights on driver side were no longer working and that the indicator on the other side was working erratically. Ordered tires and paid in advance went back to have them fitted but they were the wrong ones, so I asked for a refund and was told someone from head office would call me to verify my card number, but four days later nothing. I sent the Head office an email and they said they had the wrong number. Said the have started the refund, but it could take fine to ten days. Sadly (as may be observed) the customer ordered the wrong tyres, then supplied the wrong card numbers for refund. We can only work on what we are supplied to try our best to help when something goes wrong.

We didn't order the wrong ones your company could supply the right ones. You already had the card number idiot to take the money in the first place. The refund was paid after some days of phone calls and emails, but it was short fifty pounds. Concorde auto center head office should refund in full because they supplied nothing but phone bills. You should get you facts straight before you answer you idiot. What a useless company.

“Waste of time”

Booked Motorhome in for service and MOT and arrived in plenty of time for service appointment only to be told vehicle was to big for MOT ramp. They had details of vehicle, chassis type and reg number etc. They were unable to accommodate the vehicle and still were going to charge same amount for service only. Not great feedback and we did try our best in light of the fact that the MOT and service were left until the holiday so we tried to help.

We booked it in as the owner advised the Norwich branch on the phone it was a Fiat Duccato chassis; the reg confirms Ducato,

We also advised when speaking to him on the recorded call to come before to make sure it would fit but he declined and assured us it was the same size as a Ducato.

When he arrived we measured against the mot ramp, and we advised straight away this would not fit with the overhang from the fibreglass body.

Sorry we could not help this time.

“No priority on saving me money”

Took my old banger in here, hoping being the new guys in town they'd be looking to make a good impression. Told them I didn't want to spend much money on the car since it was on its way out, but it was due an MOT. He talked me into a service as well (at £200) and the MoT would be included free with that service. The service was well below reasonable expectation. A significant amount of money was paid for work that did not resolve or indeed accurately diagnose the problem. The Mechanic (not the receptionist) was surly, disinterested and unhelpful. Used this garage for past 3 mot tests for 2 different cars but wont be using again. My Car failed on a side light bulb, ( car has system that tells you if a light has failed, which said nothing) which they replaced for £5 which is a disgusting price in itself and on the handbrake efficiency. I booked my Jeep Patriot in to Concorde in Wisbech have the brakes bled. “Terrible MOT Test on my car”

There is nothing really from this experience that I enjoyed at all. I am training to be a mechanic myself and when I received the advisory sheet for my car I was appalled by what had been written down. I then took the car to my college and fixed everything myself with help from workshop technicians and lecturers who said that most things were an absolute overstatement of what was wrong with the car.
