WOW just WOW! ... been with this awful company 1 year! (unfortunately) - the renewals team were so rude and wouldn't quote me before 21 days, after I requested earlier figures and also to speak with the manager the manager then was shirty and didn't really care. He over spoke when I was talking and offered no service or customer satisfaction! I will NOT be using them again and I urge any motor trade to not use them! ... will be heading a complaint up!

“Nothing "Simply" about them ”

This company is a massive disgrace. It all started with my trade policy last year where I had a change of name which was a nightmare to sort out. They asked for documents with confirmation of this change, but no matter what I did it just never seemed good enough. The customer service is just non existent. You call and you either don't get through, or by the chance you do get through you just get fobbed off. This should of been a warning to me but I was stupid enough to renew with them. When I renewed I believed everything would of been fine and that it would of been the easiest option rather than shopping around. I've never been so wrong in my life. The whole experience was a nightmare. I renewed and paid the large deposit to later find my policy got cancelled because of a non payment. I was not made aware of this until it was too late and I made sure the funds were available for this installment. When I called about the non payment, Simply Insurance were adamant they sent me emails and called me several times to talk to me about the missed payment. I checked my phone's call history and emails to make sure that this was true, I even checked the spam folders. There was nothing. I didn't even get a letter. It wasn't until after my policy was cancelled I was told I was supposed to ring Simply Insurance on the date the installment was due to make the payment and that they do no have the authority to take money from my account otherwise. This absolutely baffled me and I just could not believe what I was hearing. I fought this via email and it was agreed that I would get a refund because of the lack of communication... it took them 2 weeks to reply to my argument. My refund was supposed to have been released on the 29th July, but of course I don't have it. Meanwhile I moved on to another company for trade insurance that required documents from my previous insurer Simply Insurance. I am not joking I have called 20 plus times and racked up a horrific phone bill trying to get this document. They say they will do things but they just don't! The amount of stress they caused is unreal. By the time I did get a document with my proof of no claims through by being persistence, my current provider could not accept the document because "the document does not look official". Everything was in different fonts, different colours and my dates were completely wrong. I called Simply Insurance another several times to question these errors to no result. I have just been completely blanked. Still now I have tried again and again to get a replacement document that isn't a complete mess and they haven't done anything. I just can't cope with the absolute disgrace of customer service this company provides. I will have to get trading standards involved as this company has cost me an absolute fortune by robbing me of my deposit, the horrific phone charges by constantly calling them and the cost of my new premiums because of this "non payment marker" I have on file which was not my fault. The frustrating thing is my current policy is up for cancellation because simply insurance just can't be bothered to send the documents I need that aren't a complete mess! I have to have this trade insurance to run my business, without it I can not do anything! I do my best to make sure everything is in order and this company just makes things impossible and more stressful than they already are. I'm sure they get a kick out of making people miserable. I have been treated in a horrific manor. They do not care about their customers. They just take your money and run. I would seriously look elsewhere for insurance, god help me if I was ever involved in an accident because I feel they'd just laugh at me and find some other other way to absolutely rinse my bank accounts.

STAY CLEAR FROM THIS COMPANY! this company will set u a policy up take ur money then after the 14 days cooling of period rights to cancel they cancel the policy and make up stupid reasons as to why they cancelled it all this company needs there licence revoking it's not just me they have done this to hundreds of people go look on trust pilot 100% negative reviews details have now been passed to the financial ombudsman and the FCA who are investigating them I will post an update as soon as I get a resolution from them.

Been trying to contact these guys for the last 7 days telling me they gonna call me back call me back absolutely pathetic You have a certain amount of days to send your documents in our set my documents in and a bank statement and this and my bank statement can't be used a proof of address when I've been previously insured with them with the same bank account no one answers the phone I've been on the phone for over 60 minutes I have now written letter to the head office and requested to cancel this policy over 6 times in the last 5 days absolutely appalling and

No renewal figures from simply insurance think they are doing me a favour.Send text message asking to give them a call.Going to take my business elsewhere staff are rude and incompetent only interested in taking my money no customer service what so ever. Avoid!!!!

“Monkeys could do a better job”

Very poor service. Only interested in taking your money. Your first phone call for a quote, you get through quickly. Once you accept the quote, and your phone number is on file, so they know who is ringing them, you get the typical (all our operators are busy at the moment, please hold and we will answer your call as soon as possible) Of course they make money out of you being on the phone longer, so why not keep you on hold. Then when you do get to talk to someone they dont listen to you. I got and accepted my quote for my Motor traders insurance on the 23rd May, and I was asked then when my existing policy was due for renewal, and I told them the 7th of June. they did not listen, and just started my policy from the 23rd May. I was initially given 30 days by them to return copies of driving licences etc and other documents such as proof of trading, proof of address and proof of no claims bonus etc. Obviously I cant get proof of no claims until my existing policy expires, but within just a few days they were hounding me for documents, this is when it came to light about the admistration error or so they called it, so they were notified about it there and then. Yes you guessed it, they still did not listen, and again very soon after, they were hounding me for missing documents (proof of no claims this time) which just so happened had arrived that very day, so was instantly forwarded to them. A few days then pass, and I receive a text message, and without giving any reason as to why, it says my insurance policy has been cancelled and will expire in 7 days time. Thats really convenient thing to happen the day before I am due to be getting married. So I ring them up, and of course get put on hold for yet another 20 min period (more money gone) and then get told its because they have not received my proof of no claims. By this time I am livid, after a good shouting at down the phone, the dumb bint on the other end of the phone finally finds the missing document (turns out they had it all along). I then demand an appology plus an email stating that the policy is not however canceled. She does this, but it leaves me now with very little confidence in simply insurance (Simply Idiots more like or even Simple Idiots). Looking at their previous reviews only 16% of their customers would actually recommend them. NOT VERY GOOD IS IT? If you are reading this review, save yourself the agro and go somewhere else for your insurance cover. Other issues and reasons for complaint have also come to light during these first few days of being signed up with this company, but I wont bore you with all the details as most of these are only quite minor, but when all put together does not make them look very competant.

“Not trust worthy insurance company”

I bought motor trade insurance in November 2019, sent all document's,NCB , driving license copies ,told theme I have 1 claim , and my wife , have 6 points in her license. As you all know ,,, we have only 2 weeks to cancel the contract, after that we need to pay 10% then 20% so on going to 5th month pay 100% of the premium. So they come back to me today 28/05/2019 and said . O have more than one claim . Need to pay £400 more on top of what we agreed . When I investigated with my previous insurance company Aviva insurance . They told me I have no claim at all . Emailed Simply insurance , name of the person & telephone number in Aviva . Make story short. Simply insurance sent me email . They cancelled my insurance . I stopped my direct debit payment . To call theme is wasting time putting me on hold for more than 15 minutes and then they put the phone down. I'm going to take this matter to court . Anyone who have same problem with simply insurance can contact me please . Cheers

“RUDE, AGRESSIVE STAFF MEMBER”

Today I spoke to a very rude member of staff. This guy has an attitude problem and clearly should not be working for this company if he is going to be rude and aggressive. I would strong suggest not to use this company or avoid not speaking to this guy. Complete rude guy. You would think it was his company. If you are reading this I would suggest you have further training on how to speak to people on the phone or change jobs. This is clearly a mismatch. You have got to be the rudest person I have ever spoken too, not this year but ever.

Finally can write a review .PLEASE PLEASE stay away form this company .Took my insurance out with last may as previous company was looking at £300 increase after not being with covea insurance anymore . Very polite on the phone eager to take my money good price so why not go with them . The big mistake . Policty set up then problems started . First letter send my licence and no claims proof . sent by e mail never got them they say . Letter arrives threatening to cancel policy gives me 7 days notice . Hour trying to get through to them gave up . Phones the next day but took the option on phone of new quote oh straight through to them and managed to sort out on the phone re send e mail post recorded delivery sign for E mail back saying all fine . 2 weeks later another letter giving me 7 day notice cancel need to send proof of trading i am part time told thenm at the start so sent all i had . 3 weeks later proof that my small van not being used for my other part time gardening work even though when took policy out with them told own car and van not used for part time work gardening get picked up . Hassle for few weeks but in end they gave in and accepted i dont use my van for any work . 1 month free no hassle then cancellation letter 7 days notice as not got proof of no claims driving licence or proof of trading . Had enough by then phoned COVEA as simply insurance a broker . It took 3 days for covera to get hold of them and covea phoned me back saying all sorted send covea proof of licence new i had no claims proof of 12 years as was with covea through other broker . 2 months later simply send letter again they want my driving licence asking giving me 7 days notice . I have read reviews stuoidly after i took out the insurance and paid in 1 payment they cancel lots of customers insurance after few weeks or so to refund ect ect . COVEA i highly recomend but to get insurance with them you have to go through a broker if want trade insurance . Last letter i got was anothe cancelling my insurance in 7 days if didnt send proof of trade just phoned covea told them again and was only few weeks before renewal . You want lots ofhassle go with simply insurance hassle after hassle might get canceled policy and lose your money also .

“Be very carefully when you decide to buy a premium...”

After few 4 years with no claim bonus and insured with them, they give me a new quote, higher like one year before, ok, a big deposits was asked - cause the "premium credit" asked for that, "premium credit" is the company who is finance the premium insurance to can be payd monthly installments. After 10 days receive a text from Simply like my insurance will be cancelled. I was call them and they told me to pay the rest of the money left in 2 parts 740 in next 6 days and 740 in next 30 days. I was told them I can't afford and to give me the deposit back (not all but the money left after they charge me for few insured days) they told me is possible to not give me anything back. When I was make the insurance no o e was told me I've got that risk. Be very carefully with this broker company. Simply Insurance is not so SIMPLY. Lucky me I've got lots of time with my new business and I will have time to post reviews about this company every where in next week.

I’m a new client with this lot. I took out a motor trade policy they asked for a deposit split over 2 payments, paid first instalment then they sent me notice to cancel asking for more documents. I provided these documents the same day via e-mail to which 4 days on I have had no reply. I have spent over 2 hours on hold ringing all their phone numbers but no one answers. I have requested call backs to which no one reply’s. Avoid at all costs.

“Be Warned”

Don't go there, firstly you will never be able to get through on the phone if you have a problem ( of course they answer if you want to pay money or get a quote!) Secondly you will have to get the Financial Ombudsman involved because they will not return any money owed to you. They are very quick to take your money but ignore your calls when you need assistance or are owed money, would not suprise me if they go out of Business.

“Totally Disgusting Service”

Insured my van with them told them no no claims on my new vehicle, my second which is still insured policy ended in August. Was Told by Simply Insurance no problem with no no claims just tell them when my other van is up and it would be added to the policy at no cost. As i was taking out a fleet policy for both vehicles. Then send them proof of my no claims when the other policy was complete and next year it would be considerably cheaper. Now i am told my policy will be cancelled in 7 days as i have not sent them proof of my nom claims. I have contacted them they have not got back to me as promised Paid a £395 deposit. Terrible Insurance Company. Now i have to take time out to ring them. 4 Times i have tried to contact customer service, everytime i have been kept holding on the phone for over 25 minutes.

Please guys don't insure with them they are cancel to my insurance policy with made up reason.I lost near £800 because of them. Insurance broker he sold me the policy with yes man manner but in the end he didnt even take my details are correctly when i tried to contact them it takes minimum 30 minutes to 45 minutes get hold them. Lady herself she is rude is person I ever met.This company maybe looks cheap but in the end you are going to lose all the money you pay them as a deposit also they will try to take direct debit from your account even after they cancelling your policy.

Pls do not use this company! Total shambles , they take your money! Then do not answer the telephone when you need them to do something for you! I find when you call the admin for your documents after they have taken your money! You could be on hold up to 25 mins then they cut you off! So I called back on the new business line or renewals they answer straight away! I advise you if you want to get insurance with tradex ! Pls pls find a different broker' nightmare!

You can get a quote and set up payments extremely easily, after that a shower of you know what - wasn't aloud to use correct terminology. Never got insurance certificate for over a month after constant phone calls to them where you are left on hold forever, numerous emails but never got a reply. Would not recommend would never use again. Just been sitting on hold still waiting fo get certificate and been cut off !!

I have never felt with such horrible company I got a quote then hounded to death by emails texts and phone calls first of all I got a expensive price for car traders insurance then the phone never stopped ringing got an average price oppteded for sports car cover that I told them I needed told them the car they said yes you'll be covered I would be covered for m3's m5's ect so this is were the fun and games started I tried to put my amg on the mid data base and couldn't then got the actual policy schedule through and I never had it I wasn't even insured for a 2.0 Subaru impreza it's a good job I checked or I would not of been insured could of got 6 points I have been in touch with the ombudsmen and they seem to know all about them so I tried to ring 3 days solid and I couldn't get through rung sales and within 2 rings someone answered the phone then was put through to customer services and the phone just kept ringing if you send them an email it gets returned un sent they are a bunch of criminals
