As bad as it gets with insurance. If there was a company to learn the ways not to deal with customers, these guys would be the experts. From day 1 this company sent red flags, first a rather threatening letter asking for proofs of Driving licenses and address and NCB. Most insurance companies do this however with RCIB you get a letter stating "your policy will be cancelled in 7 days". They then have a phone number which you spent about 2 hours waiting to through to. Surely it would be simpler… Read Full Review

Made the mistake of arranging motorcycle insurance through these. Had a phone call a few days later claiming there was some wrong information, a no-fault claim I had stated was in 2017 (the correct date) was false information as it was incorrectly listed on a database as being in 2016. RCIB stated the insurance would be cancelled unless I paid a further £55 for a new policy which I refused as I had already paid in full. -- Dear RCIB, I have been with RCIB for 3 years I have been with RCIB for 3 years and my renewal is up.(Received an email) So called to check all details and I was surprised after the 40 min check that I couldn't pay. I was told then, I must pay online. (Took 40 min to do this) So I click away and pay. Came back with a discrepancy in the policy please call us. Do not go with these. If you make a slight mistake with your insurance application they get you by raising the original price by £140 or charge you a £60 cancellation fee. Customer service is rude and arrogant and I experienced a bit of cheek from someone that sounded like he was barely out of school. Advise strongly Against going with them… Read Full Review

We were quoted £126.55 on Compare the Market. On landing on RCIB web-site the price had increased by £18.70 to £145.25. When asked why, I was offered an excuse regarding non disclosure!! What can one say! Avoid as we will do for any future insurance requirements!! Wasn’t all bad, the person who questioned me for best part of an hour was polite and professional. They may appear cheapest but they are awful. Charges for everything. I’m in dispute with them. I lost my job, my car and they still want £350 to cancel. They’ve tried taking money out of my account 3 months after cancellation leaving me with nothing. . My bank will get the money back but that will take days . I had the policy 4 months and was paying monthly. Started off £95 a month. I move 200 yards up the same street it went up to £110 a month. Lost my job due to the pandemic had to… Read Full Review

750quid cost to drive for 2weeks. This company is cheapest on market for a reason. Went from 180pm to 750quid within 3weeks after canceling my insurance. So yeh AVOID is a defo. NEVER EVER PURCHASE INSURANCE WITH RIGHT CHOICE. THEY COST ME MANY MANY HOURS OF MY LIFE AND ALOT OF MONEY. I was only with them for one day and spent 6 hours on hold trying to get my money back after they cancelled my insurance (WRONGLY), for no apparent reason. If you value your time and/or your money then find a different insurance company, there is a reason these are cheap. For me they were the Wrong Choice Insurance. This was definitely the worst customer experience of my life. They provided lowest quote on the gocompare website, so I clicked through to website and paid the £375, within minutes I received a confirmation email, and then received an email telling me they had cancelled the insurance with no reason given. Terrible experience when I have called several times, either phone line gets disconnected after some Considerable wait or you come across an adviser who does not have the incline to assist so you are kept waiting and eventually call is dropped or time is 8pm and call is disconnected after a 20 min hold . Adviser who took down details for insurance , these details were not reflected in the documents, , and have contacted RCIB but still haven’t heard anything . Absolutely shocking This company qoute you, take your money. Then try to charge you more. If you try to cancel it they slap a load of cancellation fees on you which then you loose out on more. Took out a policy online and paid in full. I have received absolutely nothing with regards to paperwork. After 1hr 50mins on hold I was assured I would receive my documents immediately via email....You should honestly be embarrassed to call yourselves insurance brokers. I totally agree with this review.

I have been trying for 4 days to get through by phone, call back and email and still have had no contact. Have spent 180 + minutes over 4 days waiting on the phone before giving up. I just need to to correct errors they have made on the policy before validating car policy. They asked in the email to reply as soon as possible but how can this be done if you cannot get through.
Even when I have phoned at dead on 8 o'clock it immediately comes back with message that they are experiencing extremely high call volumes.

I would like to know how anyone can get through to this company.
I dread to think what service will be like if anyone needed to try to claim.
