Hastings Direct Car Insurance never seem to listen therefore they rarely send correct paperwork, requiring you to call back numerous times

Hastings has three call centres. One in Manchester, one in Leicester and one in Bexhill. Not quite sure where you got the idea the call centre was foreign.
<br/> Totally agree about the phone number though.

Hey, I work at Hastings Direct and the last person to post a comment is correct about site locations. Where you got the foreign call centres from I have no idea.. As with the 087 numbers they are all charged at local rate not horrific prices as you would expect as if you were to phone a mobile for an hour. But if I were in a customers position I would prob phone the freephone number as well.. worse come to worse they will transfer you thruough to customer service.

“Hastings Direct are always competitive on price, but...”

Hastings Direct are always competitive on price, but if you need to renew/alter or change your car insurance be prepared for a very very long wait. On average you can wait up to 30 mins to get any response. If you ring after 7.30pm and wait you are likely at 7.50pm to be told to ring back the next day. Be warned!
