After processing the insurance online I noticed that the car had been processed as parked in a garage rather than on street. After calling up and waiting 30 minutes the price increased by £58. I decided to cancel the policy as it had not started there was no admin fee.

After reflection I decided to call back and go ahead with the policy waited a further 30 minutes to be advised that the price had moved from £470 to £820 ! The reason given was that they can’t offer online discount however the system would not allow any new quote to process due to the old booking needing to be refunded 5 day wait by the way !

I decided to go with another supplier for half the price with the same cover.
