The passenger of my vehicle the door and hit the vehicle as it was driving down the street caused a minor scratch to the vehicles front of the wheel arch. Exchanged details with the driver and put the claim through my 1st central car insurance and received a letter stating it was my fault as I am the owner of the vehicle and the claim had been settled with the third party. Received a letter from Churchill car insurance demanding £1200 reimbursement stating that the third party ( 1st Central Insurance) has not paid and it is my responsibility as I was the driver and threatened with legal action of not paid.
I received the letter after a year and they have definitely have been paid by my insurance and now informed financial ombudsman for help. They are an absolutely a rip off so please be aware and don't pay them and seek legal advice.
