How this company have been voted top car insurance provider is beyond me. My son of 17 has been insured with Admiral since October and was issued with an advisory in December that he needed to improve his performance. They use a Bronze, Silver and Gold scoring system and he was in the bronze segment for driving after 10 pm and not slowing down smoothly enough. We monitored his driving habit over the next 30 days and he was 27 days at gold and silver and 3 days at bronze. Admiral now wish to cancel his policy. When I phoned to discuss, they were totally useless and were not able to give a reasonable explanation telling me to organise alternative insurance. I have since heard similar experiences from other young drivers. Admiral should stick to insuring Miss Daisy and 40 year old plus drivers in 1.0 litre engine cars. Absolute disgrace and be advised not to go anywhere near this company.
