I rented a car from Locauto, Milan exactly 4 years ago. Now a mail with a request for administrative fee for handling a speeding ticket (which alreday has been payed) of about 50 Euro has arrived. Can hardly believe a company has such a slow administration handling. Can this be right?

Thanks for answering this question.

They take money from every customer. Read my review. Pay nothing and spread the word.

Hi there, they have been much quicker in my case... It took them 2 years only. I think it is easy to guess what I did... :-) Moreover, they charged my credit card for one more rental day because I was 10 minutes late when returning the car. Locauto? Never again!!!

My case was not about a fine. It was about theft of an important part of the engine. It took me 6 month the have the Locauto claim (€2300,-) dropped. Not All was the problem of Locauto, I had rented their car via "Rentalcars" UK and concluded an extra " excess damage insurance " cover with them. The final action that helped the claim To be dropped was the fact that I asked the European Consumer commission To intervene.

we had the same - but as we had handed the car back earlier than expected the speeding ticket was for an hour after we had given the keys back :-) Seems like alot of people seem to have got these on the way to the airport. Maybe a way to keep costs of actual hire down ? They took the money off our credit card but we spoke to the credit card company and they refunded it and not heard anything back
