We must clarify that the reported damage was not located underneath the vehicle but on the lower part of the front bumper—fully visible without the need for a car lift or workshop inspection. Our colleague identified it during the standard return check without using any special equipment, which confirms that it could have been seen during pickup as well.

Furthermore, the charge applied was not for the bumper itself, but a standard administrative fee of €30, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. This fee is issued whenever new damage is recorded during return, regardless of the level of protection selected.

All procedures were followed strictly and transparently. The suggestion that we profit from anything other than our core rental service is both inaccurate and unfair.

We would like to assure you that our international presence, the option for clients to drive our vehicles outside the Republic of Bulgaria, and our office in Bucharest reflect our commitment to growth and our ongoing efforts to provide modern and convenient services.

However, the advantages and options we offer are strictly governed by the rental agreement and the associated Terms and Conditions. To benefit from features such as cross-border travel, full compliance with these rules is required.

Regarding your trip abroad – while we understand the stress and urgency of your situation, this does not entitle you to leave the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria without the explicit approval of the Lessor. As the renter, it is your responsibility to review and understand the Terms and Conditions available on our website, through which you independently made your reservation.

The reservation process includes a mandatory field for indicating any intention to travel abroad. In your case, no such indication was provided, leading our colleague to reasonably assume that you were familiar with the rental conditions and did not plan to leave the country. Furthermore, no mention of international travel was made in the comment section during the reservation process.

We must emphasize that crossing the border without prior notice and without the Lessor’s explicit approval constitutes a serious breach of the rental agreement. Such actions involve significant risk in the event of an accident, breakdown, or emergency. Cross-border travel requires a notarized power of attorney issued by our Managing Director and a valid Green Card.

All rental agreements are sent by email, and it is the customer's responsibility to read and understand their contents. The company cannot be held liable if a customer chooses not to review or follow the stated terms.

In view of the above, we consider the fee applied for unauthorized border crossing to be fully justified and in line with the Terms and Conditions you accepted prior to receiving the vehicle.
