I rent a lot of cars for work , have used thrifty twice , on both occasions I have been accused of causing damage to the car that was patently already there and on the most recent accused of smoking in the car which I absolutely did not do.
In all the other companies I've used , all over the world , I have never come across a racket like this. Pay the extra and go with a one of the other big names , it will be far cheaper in the end.
