I booked a car through Honk and they put me onto these guys. Keith Scott initially said he would pick us up from our flight. He then wrote me an email 2 days later saying that he would park the car for us and we could get it out of the park for $36.

I then read this review centre (very helpful) which gave Scotties Car Rentals a bad rating. I cancelled the booking through Honk who were very helpful but didn't give me all my money back as promised.

I will definitely not be dealing with Scotties Car Rental or Honk as they associate with B grade firms like Scotties.

Beware of this car rental company and thank you Review Centre for helping me avoid a lot of pain on my holiday and for providing this great forum.

Same experience here - The location is NOT at the airport and they charge you more then the agreed rate!!

If you contact the care team they will look in to this.

The rate should be as you were quoted.

Let's face it Annie Scott - a 1.6 rating on this forum from 15 different people spells one thing 'BAD SERVICE'. Get real and up your game. Stop ripping people off or in my case attempting to rip me off.

Thank you for your valuable Feed back.We do pick ups from 07.00 to1700 hrs from the airport or city hotels in Auckland

After hours we leave the vehicle at a location best for the client. The airport car park costs $36.00. This is an airport cost not a Scotties charge. We have no extra charges for after hours. If we could find a better way we would. Every airport in the world has high car parking costs and we have no control over this.
