“I won't order from them...”

I ordered a car in Cretes and paid for a full coverage expecting to receive a car with no issues. When I arrived there they tried to sell me a full coverage for a big sum of money and I showed them that I already paid for it but they insisted that I'm not protected. I told them that I want to cancel and they said go to your provider but my wife and kids were tired, hungry and impassioned from the journey so I decided "to take a chance" but then we hardly used the car worrying that something will happen. Buy the way I ordered a polo and got a Citroen and it didn't seem like they even tried to save me the car I ordered. I ordered two baby seats and had to remind them that I paid for that too and they have a stupid law that they don't assemble the seats they can only guide me how to do so, I expect to get a car I order with baby seats assembled in the car. I have to say that they are not professional or too kind and didn't even try to check the order. Returning the car was ok, no problems. I won't order from them again!

“Right Car Rental? Not Right… but Very WRONG! ”

I've been renting cars for over 30 years, and this is the worse and shadiest company I've ever dealt with. If I could give it ZERO stars I would. Their parent company is RENT A CAR 4Less Miami, could be doing business as ACO Rent a Car as well. We reserved the car at Priceline thinking we scored such a great deal. Little did we know it was all a scam and shame on Priceline for using this rental car company. Our reservation was for 8/16/22 to 8/22/22 for Orlando airport. Little did we know it wasn't at the airport and you had to take a shuttle to Wally Park to get your car. The shuttle was free, so we didn't think much of it, but when we got to the lot to pick up the car, we had to get a on a video call with a representative located in Miami. It was all pleasant at first with providing them with driver’s license, credit card info, and insurance for their records. Then the representative says please insert your credit card for a deposit of $250 plus a charge for $224. We questioned the charges, the $250 is refundable but the $224 was for Surpass and additional insurance coverage. Why did I need additional insurance when I provided him with my current Geico coverage and Amex credit card which covers rentals. Told him I want to decline it all because I can pay for all the tolls with coins at the booths and my insurance fine. He proceeded to tell me that its FL state law that rental companies needed additional coverage for rentals cars. As for the Surpass, it was built into the cars, and I had to pay all tolls using their pass no matter what. If I declined the pass, I would get charged $26 per toll even if I paid it out of pocket myself. In other words, I had no choice but to pay to use their Surpass and their insurance since it was FL state law. I complained about their tactics and said there was nothing on Priceline that stated all these additional fees when I reserved. We tried to contact Priceline while we were there but couldn't get a hold of anyone to verify the fees and Priceline reservation couldn't be cancelled. The representative saw that we were about to leave so he told us that he can give us a discount and brought the charges down to $190. Do we get on the shuttle and head back to the airport to try and get another rental card, plus risk losing the Priceline charge? We had 2 kids who were tired and hot, so we just went ahead and took the car. It was a black Camry which had only 2000 miles on it. Who gets a black car in FL? We checked the car and there wasn't any major damage, so everything seems fine throughout the trip. We returned the car early, checked the car, full gas, cleaned out garbage. Everything seemed fine until today we get an invoice via email for a scratch on the left rear door. They attached a picture of it, and it was literally a dot (spec) and I'm 100% sure it wasn't there when we dropped the car off. The invoice was for over $600 to paint and clear coat to repair the scratch. Something I could've cleaned up with a little compound and buff in under 10 mins. We replied to their email, and they asked us to send proof that the car didn't have a scratch when we dropped it off. We're still in the midst of this dispute but I wanted to get the word out so good people don't get scammed by them. A nice vacation turned into a nightmare having to deal with this company. There is no state law that required us to get additional insurance from them when we already had coverage through our own provider.

Hidden charges!! Terrible. Terrible. Terrible cars. The car they gave us had duct tape on the bumper. Not reliable for a family that includes a 3 year old and 4 month old infant.

“AVOID!!!”

1) Narcosse Rd. is NOT where they are located! 2) Car wasn't ready; 45 minutes to clean, if I could wait that long 3) USAA insurance was not accepted, so they tried to charge me $30/day for their insurance. 4) Due to #2 above, the video chat (no human at desk) lady offered to cancel. Due to all the problems, I did so and went next door to Advantage and got a car $20 cheaper. 5) Booked thru Travelocity and they stated that Right-Cars would not agree to a refund. 6) Credit card dispute in progress. Will never use Right-Cars or Travelocity again.

I really wish I'd read this before booking through travelocity. Location listed in Miami is an Embassy Suites...they'd never heard of "Right Cars" Paid a milky eyed cab driver $54 to takes up .8 miles there and back to the airport to find a rental from a company that actually exists

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY. They will try to charge you for every kind of insurance or toll pass available. We arrived to the place and one of the girls working there tried to push every kind of insurance you can imagine on us for 45 minutes. Then she told us that if we didnt wanted to pay for the insurances THAT WE ALREADY PRE-PAID, we would have to give a $3500 deposit. We had to wait for like 2 hours until the shuttle arrived at the place to take us back to the airport to rent from another company. They refused to give us the car even though we had already pre paid everything needed from discovercars.com. PLEASE DO NOT RENT FROM THEM.

Riga RIX airport - company doesn´t exist there for several months, but voucher was sold by contractor. Nobody answered by phone, only automat. Renting different car from another company at the counter is much more expensive !

We booked a rental car to use in Los Angeles. We booked the car through Expedia for a great rate in Canadian dollars. When we went to pick up the car we were told that Expedia had not paid Right. We contacted Expedia while we were at Right Cars and found out that Expedia had attempted to pay Right three times but Right would not accept the funds in Canadian dollars. We were asked to pay the same price but in US funds which was no longer a deal. We left without a car and used Uber instead.

“Worst Business to rent a car!!!”

Thanks to Expedia I was able to get a full refund. I arrived in Florida with a receipt from Expedia to rent a car from Right Rental Company. I arrived late my family was tired and when I handed the clerk receipt he laughed and said nobody gets a car this cheap" I argued for them to honor the contract but no luck. I decided to rent the car with the idea of call Expedia in the morning and getting the family to the hotel. Long story short I brought the car back to a cab to budget and rented a another car. I call my credit card company and told them not to pay Right car. Right charged ne full price and continued to submit their payment for the next 3 months, my credit card company Chase paid them and I disputed the claim 3 times only to lose because my contract with right stated that if you return the car early you will be liable for the full charge. I no longer do business with Chase bank. I was very happy when Expedia stepped in and paid my bill to Chase. Both Right car rental and Chase bank have absolutely have the worst customer service I have ever seen! Please stay away from Right Car rental at all cost and stop doing business with Chase bank. Thank you Zero stars 000000

We booked car hire through Ryanair and weren't sure what to expect but RIGHT CAR exceeded any expectations we may have had. 10 minutes after we landed in Tallinn we had a phone call from the reservation staff informing us that due to road works at the terminal their office had been moved and to be sure we had no delay we were given precise instructions to get there. There was no queue, the car was almost new, clean, ready and the assistant was friendly and helpful, The paper work was completed quickly with no hard sell/nonsense about extra insurance etc as we already had our own excess insurance. we drove away within one hour of landing..happy customers

“Avoid them”

I know most car rental companies try to sell the insurance(it's a big profit driver for them) but these guys take much further. most companies will accept your credit card insurance or ask for your auto insurance card. These guys ask for something with which no one travels - your declarations page. They refuse to allow you to use their internet to obtain this and won't accept an email from your insurance company. Only a fax will do. If you don't buy their Toll Pass, they threaten you with a $25 charge per toll. Additionally if they can't get you this way, they take a $2000 deposit from you, promising to return this at the return of the car then refuse to refund as they say "the manager is not in and he's the only one who can close a contract". This was our experience with them in Ft Lauderdale this past week.

“worst experience”

I had one of worst experience in my life when I rented car. It was in Tallinn airport. No problem with car, car was near brand new. But staff was unprofessional. So: 1. when car was returned I been ask why car not cleaned and I have to pay 30 euro. Why I have to clean rented car outside and inside is well, so I have to find spare 2 hour and find local car wash? first time in my life. I did pay by cash, cause I don't have time for argue and don't want make that circus in front of my kids 2. I been blamed that tank wasn't full, even fuel receipt have been showed as evidence. I been asked ''how many times filing gun kick back ones or more'' - filling gun kick back when it's full. also car was parked on the hill. 3. Also, when car was returned I been told that they can't manage to reserve deposit at first instance, cause some one write down information from my card incorrect. And I been asked to give correct information now - Why? you have your car back, no damages, no scratches. What the purpose of deposit? I been told maybe you have speed fines, but I believe deposit taking in place for different reason, not for fines! Deposit should be 1500 euro, total rent cost was 50 euro. I'm renting cars twice a month in different EU countries, never had anything like this. Look like ''From Estonia with Love'' or ''Estonian principles of business''. I'm lucky that deposit wasn't reserved. Do NOT use Right Cars in Estonia.

“Worst Car renta company ever - Stay Away”

This right car company is a cheat, also at us Orlando Florida; please stay away. for me, I will be filing a claim and lawsuit. they have taken my deposit and have refused to refund the money- a car was returned with no issues and it going on to a month and nothing...very bad service. and I won't let them take my money. I am going to get back my money by any means necessary. they shouldn't be doing business. if right cars can't compete they shouldn't be taking money that doesn't belong to them. please don't let the cheap rates deceive you. stay away, seriously

I used RIGHT CAR in Fort Lauderdale and THOUGHT I was paying 102 up front. I brought my Declaration page for insurance and they said it wasn't enough and charged me an additional 199$ for that. THEN, find out today they kept my security deposit because they said they had to send my car to be cleaned. I am livid! Highly do not recommend!! We used Thrifty the last time we went and they were great. Did not require extra insurance and the price was what we were quoted on line.

“Right cars...don't fool yourself! It should be wrong cars!”

If I could put negative stars I would!! If you are looking to rent a car I would highly encourage going elsewhere! I was extremely dissatisfied when I had to get three different cars from the Right Car company. The first one looked horrible, had 67,000 miles and the check engine light came on 5 minutes after leaving the lot. (When I commented on getting a car that had paint coming off and was dented with the bumper looking like it just got in an accident, the guy who was doing the pre-rental assessment just apologized and seemed embarrassed.) I called to tell them I was going to return the car in an hour because I had a lunch appointment and when I came back to return it the woman at the counter was rude and told me there wasn't a car available and that it would be there in 15 minutes. I was surprised to hear that, since I had called and told them about this over an hour before, and after waiting for a while and then complaining about not having a car ready, they said there was another car available that I could have right then. I opted for that after being told that the only difference was that it didn't have an electronic key. (that's fine...my own car doesn't have that but it is still automated and updated inside). This second car had crank windows, was extremely old, had dents and over 100,000 miles. I was late getting where I needed to go so I took it and within 5 minutes of leaving the lot this time, the tire pressure light came on. I called them and told them I was going to bring this car back, didn't want to use their company anymore and wanted a full refund—I didn’t feel comfortable driving two hours to where I needed to go and were not confident in their cars. The woman on the phone said she understood. When I took this car back they had a newer car ready for me and a new contract ready to go (said it was the one they were waiting for) with 37,000 miles, good condition and very up to date. Where was that when I first got there? I had to get to an event so I took that one and the woman at the counter said she would alert the owner of all my troubles and could offer a refund for a portion of my bill when I returned the car. When I brought the car back the woman at the counter was again extremely rude—first thing she said wasn’t hello but rather, “You’re two hours late!” (I had already worked out my return time with her colleague--that's a whole other drama--and was actually 3 minutes early to be precise) and said she couldn't offer any type of refund since it was all booked up front through orbitz. The woman was the epitome of the worst customer service I have had so needless to say I will never work with Right Cars again and I will make sure that no one I know ever rents from them. In fact I think I’m going to start a renaming petition and encourage this company to change its name to Wrong Cars. Do yourself a favor—pick a different company…you will thank me later!

“The worst experience ever!”

This is the worst car rental place ever!!! The prices are very cheap but the service is horrible... and not only service. They charge the deposit for the car from your card and then never return it after bringing the car back with no damage!!! And we’re talking about thousands dollars! Me and my family had in total 5 reservations, and after every single reservation we called their rude agents to ask to please return our money..!they said it might take 2-3 business days after you return a car but it’s not true! Every our refund took over a month after multiple times calling them. These girls agents always sounded so annoyed, never could answer a questions what’s going on and just always put you on hold. One time I disputed one change (because they just charged me twice for the same car reservation) so now they don’t want to return my deposit for my last reservation maden over a month ago due my previous despute. They are saying they need to verify if I did a despute again ( taking 2 weeks for verification already) I told them of course I didn’t do it at this time and they still hold my $1000 die Possible despute.... This has been just a nightmare dealing with this company! I spoke with a manager multiple times: they don’t have any answers. Horrible experience! Also one time I was asking questions how long they’re going to hold MY money and their agent said Sorry M’am I have other customers I need to help so BYE... and she hang up on me!!! This was just so rude!!! I work in hospitality industry and have never seen anything like that! A huge shame on this company and employees!!!!

“Do not rent a car from Right Cars. Awful customer care”

We reserved a mini-van for a family vacation in Orlando for 12 days. We had a flight arriving late at night, so the rent-a-car office was closed. We knew this, so we rented a hotel nearby, planning to walk to the place and rent the car the next morning. We googled the address from the hotel and sure enough it was at a walking distance. We started walking for about a block in the direction indicated by Google Maps, but we couldn´t see signs for Right Cars. So we decided to enter the business which had a sign for Red Coach. Surprisingly enough, this was the place. I would think they should at a minimum have the name of the business up front for customers to recognize it !! Oh well, so I come up to the counter and the girl pulls out my reservation. From the moment she starts talking, all she's worried about was to add up additional charges to the reservation. Please note that they will not accept any insurance for the car except the one they will force you take, if you decide to rent a car with them. I have always rented cars with the major rent a car companies (Alamo, Hertz, Dollar, Avis) and have always been able to waive both the LDW and CDW insurance and have used my credit card insurance. Since I rented a mini-van I was obliged to take a $45.00 per day insurance (CDW+LDW) which boosted up my reservation for $450.00 plus tax. Additionally, they make you pay $9.99 per day for the Sunpass toll charges, which again you are obliged to pay. The original reservation I had made online was for $533.00 and I ended up paying $1023.00. Almost double than what I had budgeted for transportation for my family vacation!!! At the end, you have no option but to rent the car from them, because their location is off-airport grounds so it's either rent with them or waste your time going back to the airport and try to make another reservation with any of the major companies. Also, the girl at the counter told us they could receive the car at 6:00 am, but they couldn´t guarantee a shuttle service to the airport at that time. So, I had no option than to rent another car for that day just to go back to the airport. When I returned the car, they told me the information I was given was not correct because they did provide shuttle service since 6:00 am. There was a manager in at that time and after listening to all my complaints, offered to pay for the one-day reservation I had made just to take back to the airport the next morning. To be fair, this was the only act of politeness and customer care I received from this company. Now, I'm back home and I have a charge for $839.00 from them. I believe this is the deposit that they charge up front, and I don't know when I will get my deposit back!!! All the other major rent a cars simply release your credit without actually charging the deposit, if there were no problems with the car. PLEASE DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE.

Please do not rent a car from Right Cars. Can write in detail but waste of time. Everyone working there have been trained to scare customers; lie; add excessive charges and they WILL NOT refund your deposit. Would give 0 or negative stars if I could.

“Do not use - very dodgy and they don't care”

I'd strongly recommend against booking with these guys because they are very dodgy. They are a rental booking agency and have suppliers or subcontractors in each country they operate. But being based in the UK themselves, they push any responsibility on to their subcontractors and hide from customers themselves, making them untouchable if something goes wrong. We made a booking online through the website, and got confirmation that everything was OK, and that we would have to pay the full price of the rental directly to the supplier on the ground. I got the booking confirmation and all looked good. 24 hrs later, I got a call from the local supplier asking for further details and saying that they were concerned they wouldn't have a car available and the system shouldn't have allowed the booking. Before I went to see the local supplier, I went back into my booking which had mysteriously been cancelled. There was no explanation, no email notification either - if I hadn't picked it up by checking the booking, I would have turned up to no car. And Right Cars made the booking completely disappear from their system. I put it back onto the local supplier who came up with a solution, but on my first enquiry with Right Cars on why my booking was cancelled, I got no response. On my second, I got the excuse that my credit card had declined, which couldn't have been the case because I had nothing owing on it, and the initial booking showed that the payment was due directly to the supplier on pickup. Clever business setup for them perhaps, but absolutely zero care for their customers, and no way to hold them to account. I get that some people write reviews to slam competitors, but I assure you this is a genuine review. Check out other reviews, and have a look at their website and facebook page. Notice they have only shared 'positive' reviews on their page, that they don't allow customers to provide a rating on their facebook page, and they don't allow the public to see what consumers have posted to their page. If they were so great, why not? You only do that if you have negative stuff to hide...

“The Pits”

Although I did get the VW convertible (a great little car) I ordered and paid for, the experience at Right Cars Miami left a very negative impression. The facility is a mess. The personnel refused to take my collision insurance from my insurance company. They wanted additional fees that were not part of the agreement. The only good thing about this shoddy rental facility is Freddy, the wonderful bus driver who takes you back and forth to the terminal. He was a gem and offered directions and help. Too bad the inside desk people and the manager were not as recptive. Do NOT use this facilty even though the price seems appealing.
