I would not recommend hiring from this company and will not be using them again.
This is due to a £96 charge for a very small chip in the windscreen.
I know this did not happen whilst I was driving however I cannot say for sure if this was there when I collected the car. I have never previously heard of a company checking the glass condition and this was not highlighted in the vehicle inspection.
When I spoke to reception and informed them of the above they said that any stone chips to paint or glass are chargeable even though the driver cannot prevent this from happening.
I find this policy entirely unfair and had I know this I would not have used Green Motion.
My advice is to avoid this company and use one of the other car rental companies as this is the only company I am aware of that has this unfair policy.
