Barcelona airport, cheap price but then will not let you have the car unless you buy extras especially insurance..they will even tell you if you don't take the insurance they will block €1000 euros from your credit card and not release it for 30 days after return - they say this is Spanish law, this a a complete LIE and they know it, other companies at Barcelona airport like firefly, interrent and europacar will block for maximum 7 days , the 30 day rule belongs to go goldcar to bully you into buying insurance or anything else that they will try and sell you - they have even been exposed on UK TV in a holiday complaint programme. ...be WARNED , avoid, use one of the others I mention here

We're trying to improve our services and your opinion is essential to do so.
On the issue you described, you have to know that our policy contemplates the requirement to leave a deposit in order to pick the car and start using our services. However, we always offer additional cover (Super Relax Cover), because it already includes an excess and it exempts you of this requirement. If customers have third party coverage, they can request a refund from them in case of damages, but our additional coverage is always offered as an alternative to blocking a deposit on a credit card. Both options are basic requirements of our policy and it was stated on your confirmation voucher before arriving. Bear in mind that all of our basic procedures are stated on your confirmation voucher as well as on your contract, so our agents can't be liable of the fact that you weren't aware of any of this before arranging the contract. Please refer your case to our Customer Service department by opening a query through our website. That way, they’ll get in touch with you and manage your case ASAP.
