Avoid Europcar at all costs

We just returned our car to Alicante airport and were accused of damaging the car. There was apparently some damage underneath the car. We were told to look for scratches bigger than about 10cm. We were not told to shine a torch around the bottom underside of the car. The damage must have been there and they failed to spot it. I did not crash the car. I did not knock into any pavements or posts. This is the second time Europcar has tried to take extra money from me. The last time was to clean the car. Avoid at all costs. I am in shock about this as I would admit and know if I had caused any damage. This is the only car hire company that has ever charged me and I have used a lot. After the last time, my sister (journalist) wrote an article about how Europcar cons people in a national magazine. I thought I would give them another chance as they are a global company you can supposedly trust, but no. Fined again. So be warned people. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AND CHECK UNDER THE CAR WITH A TORCH.
