Regular Hire At Cheap Rate
Got a car at Bari airport via Locauto with whom have hired previously. Good clean car with no probs.

Much cheaper than buying direct from europcar- easy pick up and drop off . Only issue was first 2 cars I was provided with had u recorded damage so I changed before taking cars. Dread to think what would have happened if I hadn’t checked and noticed the damage !!

Got to choose our car and we picked a fairly new model with low miles. Car was clean and fresh. Everything worked. Very happy with our holiday car.

Efficient Service At A Competitive Price
The booking process was relatively easy and came up with a good price. All the details were sent through in an email in very easy to understand terms. On arrival the booking process and pickup was very easy and efficient. We even got upgraded so that was a bonus. The car (Hyundai Tucson) was in good condition and very easy to drive. Returning the car was also handled very efficiently. We would definitely book with Ecarz again in the future. Thoroughly recommended.

If I pay excess protection would I the hire company still put a block on my card?
I have had quotes for car hire from quite a few companies - to pick up at Nimes airport. Ecarz quote is considerably less than any of them and I'm wondering if it's too good to be true? I'd never heard of this company before.
I have used ecarz several times without any problems. I have had an issue with another company getting me a 'cheap' rate by going to a fringe company rather than giving me a good discount an a top tier renter. Ecarz offer no cost cancellation ..... so you can always go ahead then if you don't like the look of the company they are hiring from - you can cancel. Non standard pick up locations and of course bad reviews on the web are the way I pick the 'dodgy' companies.
I am thinking of hiring a car at Catania Airport in Sicily. Will the pickup point be on the airport or via a shuttle bus?
What is your fuel policy? Full bring back full or full bring back empty? Will the car be reasonably knew? ie Is from one of the major suppliers.
I've never been to Italy so can't you there I'm afraid.
How much is the relax insurance to remove the excess/credit card block?
