Do they take the money out of your account when you have to give a credit card as guarantee?

No , they just block the £1250.00 on your credit card, so you must make sure that you have that amount left in credit on your card

Hi. I use them regularly and use my credit card to provide the guarantee. It does not charge your card, it blocks out the amount of the guarantee for the period of the hire. So, unless you have an accident, or the car is stolen, the block expires when you return the car. It's important to remember that your card will need to have capacity to provide the block guarantee within your limit - and you will not be able to use this for the period of the block. For example, if your credit limit is £5,000 and you have £3,000 outstanding on your card, and the block is £1250, then you will only have £750 remaining to use during the hire period. Hope that helps.

There was no money taken from my account that I noticed anyway, Very competitive hire rates and I have used them before, Generally they were OK and definitely the cheapest company around Heathrow.

As far as I'm aware they only ear mark the amount

They didn't take the money from my account - I believe it was just blocked as a guarantee against damages. They were a very good value for money company in my opinion.

Nope. They don't take money out but your money will be blocked for your rental period.

No this is just in case you have an accident. They block the ammount until car is returned.

Yes - they did this to me in September 202. They claim it was in error, but it appears to happen to plenty of people. It is now mid-December and they are still not refunding the money to my credit card. The value was £1500.  I wouldn't deal with them if I were you, unless you want the pain of having to spend a lot of time getting YOUR money back that they shouldn't have in the first place.

Where do I collect my rented car if I were to pick up at Heathrow Airport? Is it at the Sheraton Hotel?

Yes it's at the hotel, however they came picked me up and them dropped me off at the airport . Honestly couldn't fault these guys. Used them at 3 locations in the UK always impressed.

Do yourself a favour and book elsewhere, I tried to rent on 2 previous occasions and it was a disaster without even an apology or refund or an answer to my complaint!! Then this pops up to give a review! Honestly go sew here and save yourself the hassle and inconvenience Regards W

Cancel your booking as soon as you can and go and rent somewhere else. That is the best advice I can give. All their process is designed to ripe you off. They invest in keeping their profile clean in the web to attract new customers. They must have one of the lowest customer retention ratios known.

We hired from Easirent just over a year ago via Atlas Choice, a company we've used on many occasions. On arrival at Heathrow from South Africa we had instructions to utilise the Hoppa bus outside the terminal, showed our booking docs & we were dropped off at the Sheraton where we collected our car. On returning it was a really early morning flight to Italy the same process to get back to Heathrow. The Hoppa bus is complimentary for car hire firms just outside the main airport, similar to the more well known (& generally more costly) Hertz/Avis etc.

It is a bad idea to use easirent. Help yourself and use another company, their hidden fees will make your final rent price way higher then any big player like europcar, hertz, sixt, etc. On the top of hidden fees, I returned the car half an hour later and they charged me a fee equivalent of 3 days in price. When the same happened.with europcar, they just said: no problem, no fine for the first 4h of delay, we know london traffic well.

When you book online with Easirent they send you a confirmation email with a booking reference - mine was a 5 or 6 digit number. If you have not received this then just email them and they will be able to help. They will send you the contact numbers and once you have collected your luggage you just call them and they will pick you up and take you to the office to collect your car - its a great system. I have rented from them a few times now and never had any problems

They normally send a voucher by email. Shall you need a duplicate, just call their call center and ask to send you one. Your name, rental dates and time, collection station shall be enough to identify your booking. As I can judge, their staff, which is really helpful, have access to all bookings.

Sorry I can't help, their office is close to me and I did all the business in person.

Hi,  Thank you for your enquiry. You're able to view your voucher via your email address you entered at the time you placed your reservation. I have re-sent the booking voucher to your email address, if this doesn't go in to your inbox, it will go in to your spam/junk folders. Please feel free to let me know if you need anything further. Regards, Liam

Please do yourself a favour, and make other arrangements. While cheap (through the quoted price, the insurance and 'deposit' be unexpected charges you have to bear the brunt of), the level of service, professionalism and choice of vehicles, are so lacking, it's laughable. If you got a voucher through a third party, call them to explain your lack of confidence in this supplier and they will happily make other arrangements for you.
