No , they just block the £1250.00 on your credit card, so you must make sure that you have that amount left in credit on your card

Hi. I use them regularly and use my credit card to provide the guarantee. It does not charge your card, it blocks out the amount of the guarantee for the period of the hire.
So, unless you have an accident, or the car is stolen, the block expires when you return the car.
It's important to remember that your card will need to have capacity to provide the block guarantee within your limit - and you will not be able to use this for the period of the block.
For example, if your credit limit is £5,000 and you have £3,000 outstanding on your card, and the block is £1250, then you will only have £750 remaining to use during the hire period.
Hope that helps.

There was no money taken from my account that I noticed anyway, Very competitive hire rates and I have used them before, Generally they were OK and definitely the cheapest company around Heathrow.

They didn't take the money from my account - I believe it was just blocked as a guarantee against damages. They were a very good value for money company in my opinion.

Yes - they did this to me in September 202. They claim it was in error, but it appears to happen to plenty of people. It is now mid-December and they are still not refunding the money to my credit card. The value was £1500. I wouldn't deal with them if I were you, unless you want the pain of having to spend a lot of time getting YOUR money back that they shouldn't have in the first place.
