Renter Beware

A copy of my 12th email to this company. I arrived in Lanzarote 13 days ago to collect a car booked through DoYouSpain and given the name of a company called TURISPRIME RENT A CARand to collect from their booth in the car park across from the main terminal. I scoured the car park, no booth. I returned to the arrivals and visited all of the car hire companies to be told that Avis deal with them. It was closed by then. DoYouSpain have no level of customer service other than terrible. I have sent 12 emails, my last one attached below. Do not go near this company!

Yet another two days have passed and once again your extremely poor service, which will serve me well with my court action, does not go unnoticed. I specifically have asked for your legal departments contact details 4 times now and you have refused to send them to me. Your company failed to send me the correct collection information for my car, you have failed to provide me with the information I requested and you had the sheer audacity to try and charge me for your companies failures. I have clearly stated I want full refund of my payment for hire car, full reimbursement for my taxis due to your companies inability to supply and compensation for my time and my disrupted holiday. I will continue to feedback on Trustpilot, your Facebook page and have sent an email to customer services already of every company you misrepresent on your website as you are tarnishing their reputation. I have given you timelines to respond, you ignored. I want the name of a contact and the full address of your companies legal department by Monday. If not, I shall post this email on your FB page, forward it to the companies you advertise and I will also post on Trustpilot. I have hired cars via DoYoItaly for years, never experienced a single problem. They will never benefit from my business again either. What a shocking way to run a business.

After paying them €152.24 for car hire from a company that they gave me the wrong collection information from I had to pay €95.10 for taxis from and to airport. I had to cancel visits around the island as I kept expecting a response and solution to be forthcoming. They eventually replied two days ago and stated that they are willing to refund me €87.24 “ as the company had prepared a car for me” Their words not mine. They give me the wrong company name and the wrong collection directions, they failed to respond to my emails in a timeous fashion, they have refused to give me any contact details for their legal department. They should simply be out of business. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY
