“Good value money”

Everything was perfectly easy with picking up the car. We have a small scratches on the left side of the car, probably someone hit us on parking. Click rent said its 420€ damage and took it from my credit card. Now I am looking with discover.cars how to refund, because we pay for full coverage. We thought that we took Citroen C3, but they gave us Seat Ibiza new model, great car - even better for same money. We will see what will happen with refund of our money, its still in progress.

“Efficient and fair price - why pay more”

We were picked up at the airport. We got the car we expected. The service was good. No issues and dropped back at the airport once we had returned the car. Wouldn't hesitate to use again and recommend: why pay double for a fancy new car from Avis or Hertz when you can get the perfect car for driving in Corfu for half the price and don't have to worry too much as it's not brand new.

Make sure you have an international driver’s license and a regular license. Also don’t go there with a temporary license they will not except it, I had to renew mine in Canada because it was expiring in two months and I couldn’t pick up the car so my wife had to buy an international license on line and rent the car under her name????????. Other than that everything went great.

I AM COMPLETELY SATISFIED WITH YOUR COMPANY. HOWEVER, I THINK YOU NEED TO TALK TO THE VEHICLE PROVIDER BECAUSE DURING THE RENTAL, I WAS TOLD THAT YOUR COMPANY MAY NOT COVER FULL SECURITY, WHICH CAUSES YOUR CUSTOMERS TO BE CONFUSED. THE ONLY, BUT BIG PROBLEM WAS THE EMPLOYEES FROM THE VEHICLE PROVIDER COMPANY. THEY WERE TOTALLY INPOLITE AND NOT AT ALL HELPFUL. FINALLY NO ONE OF THEM SUGGESTED THAT I HAVE TO CHECK THE VEHICLE BEFORE THE RENTAL.

So far no personal contact with staff members, however i did not get a clear answer to my question about the Free shuttle service, just a standard reply email " I was advices to consult the rental conditions, because I did not yet booked a car the there was no time to answer me, only the an overload of clients who booked already ... strange I will wait and see how the rating will be after my holidy.

Excellent service yet again. My car suffered a small scratch to the front bumper not due to my fault. Fortunately I had taken the full cover insurance. Shortly after my arrival back home I filled in the easy claim form. It was swiftly dealt with and my charges were quickly refunded to my bank with no quibble. I will use Discover Cars again in the very near future just great service!

“Do not recommend”

I cannot recommend Discover Car. The car overall was fine but I was pressured repeatedly to buy their insurance. I was there for 40+ minutes and felt I had to get the insurance to get the car, was told the insurance I already had was worthless (I double checked later, and it was more than adequate). I was shown pictures of cars bashed and banged up and told that this happening to me was almost guaranteed, and I had to get their insurance or it would certainly end badly for me. I did get some coverage, but of course didn't need it. I felt swindled out of my hard earned money for nothing. The car tank was below full and dirty. Do Not Rent here.

Has anyone found someone in customer support that is able to assist with an existing case? I am having an issue filing a claim and it appears no one at Discover cars is available to engage or escalate at this point. We had a not so great experience with the rental car vendor (America Cars in Mexico) and they will not release the final invoice for the damage of a popped tire. They do not deny that the damage occurred, or that we were covered by Discover Cars, and I do have the receipt and bank account statement. They just are not providing the final invoice. They are claiming that this is our own fault for booking with Discover Cars as opposed to purchasing insurance directly from them. Discover Cars will not refund without the final invoice. Has anyone encountered this before? Any tips to resolve? Seems odd that Discover Cars would partner with a vendor that will not cooperate in getting them what they need to provide a customer what they paid for (insurance that covers a flat).

Hi! I have not credit card, only debit card! If they do not accept it, I cancel the reservation. I read they don't give money back but give credit points. This is true? What can I do?

You may have to accept credit points for another journey if you cancel. You always have to use a credit card when it comes to rental

Why are they so expensive, other local providers are about $20 to $30 cheaper?

Sometimes the price differential relates to whether the car can be picked up and dropped off rom the airport or not. Discovery do provide this from one of the car parks at Faro which to me is worth paying a bit extra over those that drive you off to some pick up point in Faro.

Second driver prices differs from region and car rental agency, when selecting desired location and period of travel, you are able to see the prices under each car "Rate & Car details".

I have never heard of this company. The prices seem to good. Has anyone used them in Orlando? How did you get to the their offices? They are around 6 miles from the airport. Any feed back will be appreciated.

I have used them a couple of times to rent vehicles in Portugal. they are a broker, they arranged our car though local car hire companies, once with Europa another time with International Car Hire. prices were good. had no problems with them at all. hope this helps Cheers
